NARS Afterglow Liquid Blush is now available at sephora.com and I’ll be the first in line to grab a shade or two. This new lightweight liquid blush promises eight hours of hydration thanks to a formula infused with Sodium Hyaluronate and vegan collagen. It provides a natural-looking glow that’s transfer-proof and creates a healthy-looking flush of color.

It’ll be available in the legendary Orgasm shade which is a golden peach pink shade as well as fan favorite Dolce Vita a dusty, natural nude rose.

Other shades include:

• Behave (mauve pink)
• Wanderlust (soft lilac)
• Insatiable (deep plum)
• Brazen (coral peach)

I have my eye on Brazen, Orgasm, and Dolce Vita! I’ll be rushing to purchase these as soon as they launch as NARS has had trouble keeping items in stock lately and I’m getting a wave of FOMO already with these. I wonder if the formula will be anything like NARS Liquid Blush (which, by the way, is so hard to find lately because it never restocks). I think this new version might be a bit dewier in finish! Or at least that’s what I’m hoping for! One thing I did notice is the shades look almost milky and pastel-ish! I hope that’s just an issue with the stock images as I really would like something that’s luminous and glowy in finish! I struggle wearing pastel anything on my cheeks! It makes me look deathly! So, I hope I’m wrong about the finish.

NARS Afterglow Liquid Blush gets a bit yes for me, I’ll totally be on line to snag these.

Urban Decay Hydromaniac Dewy Liquid Blush is a new vegan blush and cheek available in six shades for Summer 2023. This new long-lasting tint hydrates skin with marula oil and gives cheeks a juicy, dewy, plush pop of color that lasts for hours.

Shades include:

• Drippin’ (cooled-toned bubblegum pink)

Looks like Urban Decay really went loud with these. They’ll look incredible on deeper skin tones if they are as pigmented as they appear to be in promo images. I love the idea of these but not sure I need them as I’m really still obsessed with Jelly Charm Glazed Lip Stain & Blush from Kaja which give me a dewy, lifted, sculpted cheek look! I swear they take years off my face. Face stains and tins like this seem to be the trend of the season as NARS just released their new Afterglow Liquid Blush and the Huda Lip Blush Cream Lip & Cheek Stain as well!

I also feel like these will go on sale quickly as most UD releases don’t last out a month before they hit the sales rack which makes waiting to grab one to try out a little easier for me.

Maybelline Color Tattoo 24HR All-In-One Eye Stix Eye Pencils are on the way for Summer 2023. These new pencils act as a shadow, liner, and primer all in one with a pigmented formula that wears for 24 hours. They’ll be available in ten colorful shades and two finishes (5 shimmer shades and 5 mattes). This isn’t the first time Maybelline has done Color Tattoo Pencils! Who remembers the Maybelline Color Tattoo Concentrated Crayons? They were around for Spring 2016 and didn’t stick around long but were chubby, creamy pigmented pencils that had a slippery texture and tons of pretty shimmer.

I love pencils like this. I actually just love cream shadows in general. The simplicity of swiping something on, blending it a bit, and having it look fabulous without a ton of effort is very appealing in an eye product. Did you know Milani has Gilded Eyeshadow Sticks now as well? Remember when they had those cool Naturally Chic Shadow Eyez Pencils? I loved those!

Maybelline’s new version is a slimmer pencil which means it’ll probably work great as a shadow or a liner. I see a few shades I’d picked up like I Am Powerful which is a matte warm orangey brown and I Am Determined which is matte, dark, deep brown. I Am Unique looks fun as well which is bright fuchsia pink!
