Dude, dude, dude…I’ve been waiting my whole life for a little gadget that cools my eye gel pads. Well, technically that’s really exaggerated because I currently just stash them in a mini fridge I have in my bathroom. But isn’t this cool? I personally love eye gels and I used them often! Some of my favs are the Pixi ones, Peter Thomas Roth’s Water Drench Hyaluronic Cloud Hydra-Gel Eye Patches, florence by mills Surfing Under The Eyes Hydrating Treatment Gel Pads, and Shangpree Black Pearl Hydrogel Eye Mask.

I apply these before going to bed at night, before an evening out, or sometimes if I have time in the morning I’ll apply pre-skincare and makeup! They’re a staple in my skincare routine. But I gotta admit I love the idea of reusable ones. Pacifica Reusable Eye Masks are a pretty nifty little item to have handy if you want something you don’t have to replace every month or every few weeks plus you can use them with your lotions, potions and eye serums!

I LOVE Tarte Shape Tape Concealer but I’m questioning if I need this new Tarte Shape Tape Radiant Concealer. It just feels like “Shape Tape” is the new Urban Decay “Naked”. You know damn well that Urban Decay has used and abused the word “Naked” in all their latest launches and Tarte pretty much does the same thing with “Shape Tape”. Not everything has to be Shape Tape ya know?

That being said, I’m not really sure I need a Radiant version. I love the original, it works great, do I need a ton of different variations of it? Not really… But I guess they’re past due on a Shape Tape launch since Shape Tape Ultra Creamy Concealer launched in 2021.

Obviously, I’m alone in my opinions as this is flying over the shelves and the hope is that it turns out to be a Charlotte Tilbury Beautiful Skin Radiant Concealer type formula!

The good news is Tarte isn’t promising you full-coverage with this guy! It’s marketed as medium coverage with a soft-focused blurring effect that plumps the under eye area and hydrates. It contains castor oil, squalane, mica, diamond powder, sea buckthorn oil, niacinamide, green tea extract, hydrolyzed collagen, centella asiatica extract, licorice root extract, prickly pear extract, ginseng root extract, and sodium hyaluronate. Looks like they really loaded up on the good stuff here but the mica killed it for me. I hate anything shimmery or glowy under my eyes. I feel it puts a spotlight on my bags.

That being said I’ll totally try it because I’m a total concealer junkie! Will I love it? I’m not sure but we’ll see!
