I happen to be a big fan of both Real Techniques and Eco Tools Brush Cleaner. They’re affordable and they get my brushes squeaky clean. Yes, I realize baby shampoo is cheaper but I prefer makeup using a brush cleaner.

But I have to admit one of my all-time favorite brush cleansers that’s well worth to purchase price is Cinema Secrets Makeup Brush Cleaner. This is a great cleaner if you need to use your brushes immediately as they dry instantly after using this cleanser. Yes, instantly. All you have to do is pour a little of the cleanser into a cup, take your brush and dip it partially into the solution, give it a moment, and the brush will saturate with the solution like a sponge does with water. After that simply wipe your brush on a washcloth or a paper towel. I keep around some old Makeup Erasers that I hate for my face to clean off the brushes and just toss them in the drying machine my next laundry day. This is great for color switching as well if you’re doing an eye look and need to switch shades on the fly as the solution completely tries instantly. It’ll never leave your brushes wet! The solution comes in both the original formula and a lemon-scented formula. I personally love the lemon one but the original is fragrance-free!

You’ll have to rip this from my cold dead hands! I love this stuff and use it almost every day! I have the clear and the color versions and I know it’s an oil but it’s so glossy, so pretty, so hydrating, I’m just putting it up here as an oil slash gloss.

Sephora’s Spring 2023 Savings Event starts this Friday for Rouge at Sephora.com! And I thought I’d round up some of my very favorite blushes! I feel Summer is blush season! I love all sorts of textures, formulas, and finishes of blush in the Summer! I tend to go lighter with my eye makeup but I don’t forget to add a pop of color on my cheeks when out and about in the Summer sun.

Here are some of my Top Sephora Sale Blush Recommendations.

Melt Cosmetics Digital Dust Highlight in Genesis
I literally have two of these open currently and another three stashed away. Melt had so many sales this year (including on Sephora’s website) that I was concerned it would disappear so I kept buying it every time it went on sale. It’s the perfect golden peach and a MUST MUST have if you don’t already own it. It just makes your entire face glow!

Guerlain Terracotta Light Healthy Glow Bronzer
I don’t really like bronzer or the sun (hissss!) or looking all warm and toasty. I’m a vampire and enjoy that state of my skin thanks so much. But there’s just something special about Guerlain’s Terracotta Light Healthy Glow Bronzer. I’ve been buying this for year and when the first sign of sun creeps up in the Spring I immediately take it out. It actually works great as a blush for me as well to add a nice warmth to my skin without looking too orange or too brown!

Natasha Denona Bloom Cheek Palette
I’ll probably die of sounding like a broker record with this one but I truly believe the Bloom Cheek Palette is one of Natasha’s best works. It’s just that perfect gorgeous golden peach glow it gives me! I love it!

NARS Air Matte Sheer Cream Blush in Orgasm
Again, I’m a broken record but Orgasm is the perfect shade of peach and this matte sheer version is incredible. I actually like it more than the powder. It’s easy to work with, has the consistency of cream but sets to a powder, and isn’t as shimmery as the powder. A perfect pop of golden peach!

Melt Cosmetics Monarca Blush Palette

Danessa Myricks Beauty Yummy Skin Blurring Balm Powder FlushedDanessa did such an incredible job with these. Truly they just adhere to skin in such a natural, seamless way! They have a light, thin consistency that applies like a dream and wears all day! Just gorgeous! Bonus points for working on lips as well!

Benefit Cosmetics WANDERful World Silky-Soft Powder Blush
Another day, another time I’m raving about Benefit’s Wanderful Collection. I dunno what it is but I just feel they did a great job with these. Trust me, they look uneventful in the packaging and sort of swatched just as boring but on cheeks they are some kind of wonderful!

Tower 28 Beauty BeachPlease Lip + Cheek Cream BlushDO IT FOR SUMMER! Tower 28’s cream blushes are divinely light, beautifully pigmented, and just wear and wear and wear. I love these! They live in a special place in my heart.

ONE/SIZE by Patrick Starrr Cheek Clapper 3D Blush Trio Palette
Props for customizing objects in this blush palette as it serves up cream and powders to combine, mix, and play with till your heart’s content. I actually really, really like this formula. The cream is light and easy to blend and the powders are soft and silky. I have three of them and I’ve made quite a dent in them!

Kaja Jelly Charm Glazed Lip Stain & Blush With KeychainThese are terribly expensive but RUN don’t WALK to get them! Kaja was really kind to send me some to try and I was like, “Wow small!” but I tried it and was like holy cow is this what it’s like to have model cheek bones? I dunno what magic is happening here but seriously, these create such a lifted look. I also love the fact they have a very light, dewy finish that makes your skin look all glowy and warm. Def worth trying!

Clinique Cheek Pop Blush
I feel like Clinique’s sleeping on these. I own every shade and just wish they’d do more. The texture is smooth, silky, and it applies like a dream! I need MORE SHADES!

Benefit Liquid Lip Blush & Cheek Tint in Floratint
Simply the best stain that Benefit has every done! The perfect desert rose shade! A must for Summer!
