In all my years of collecting Bare Escentuals I’ve come to associate the brand with Leslie Blodgett’s face. This has become something very important to me because I honestly can’t associate many brands with faces, it somehow makes the makeup experience more personal as if Leslie is my best friend, telling me all about the new makeup coming out from season to season.

Ahhh this is Spring!

An early release of the Philosophy Color of Grace Cosmetic Collection is gracing the pages of QVC today and I couldn’t be happier, this is Spring dears, with cool flushes of pink on my cheeks I’m definitely in the spirit of the beautiful weather ahead…meh even though it’s still so cold outside my window.

Hey chicklets!

Everyone is pretty excited about the Stila Spring Collection 2010 eh? I know I am. BTW, I love this, the collection is actually called Dust to Diamonds. For some reason I find this such an oddly fitting title for the collection as in some aspects it really Stila’s story isn’t it? Earlier this year we all cried in woe that Stila was going bankruptcy. We weren’t sure what was going to happen to our beloved brand but in swoops Lynn Tilton, now the new owner of Stila, who saves the day and Stila from demise. Happy Days! So indeed at one point there was dust but this year Stila has come out diamonds hasn’t it?

The Stila Dust to Diamonds Collection was actually inspired by Lynn Tilton and features my favorite finish….shimmer, sparkle, and glittery bits that shine as bright as a gem.

Ok, story time.

Is it me or do you find it utterly irritating when eye makeup remover is dubbed as being for eyes and lips?� That’s a total pet peeve of mine.� Seriously, how many people are sporting lippies that are so bulletproof you need to remove that crap with eye makeup remover.� “Hi honey I’m home can you pass the eye make remover so I can remove my lipstick?� k, thanks!� Let’s have dinner!”

Just for the record I’ve never found myself wiping down my lips with a cotton pad saturated in eye makeup remover and I probably never will.� I understand the mentality of it and that on occasion people are sporting some sort of lipstick that perhaps…kinda…sorta…may need to be removed with something stronger than a mere tissue but honestly 1. my lipstick doesn’t even MAKE it to the end of the day so I do not need a liquid remover for it and 2. If it’s still hanging around I simply wipe it off with a tissue.

Anyone with me?
