Tarte Tartelette Energy Amazonian Clay Palette is a new eyeshadow palette with twelve neutral, mauve, and plum shades that launched yesterday on Tarte and Ulta.
Tarte has been doing the most lately, particularly for Holiday 2022 launches! I was pretty impressed with the Maneater After Dark Eyeshadow Palette not to mention some of the Holiday launches like Precious Gems Amazonian Clay Cheek Palette and the Glamazon Face Palette are on my wish list.
But sadly, sometimes we gotta call out Tarte for being silly and the Tartelette Energy Eyeshadow Palette is just dumb and yeah, it made it onto my “Sh1T I Don’t Need List”. I hope they prove me wrong as promo images can be grossly deceiving but no one asked for yet another round-up of bronzey nudes, mauves, roses, and plums. We all have this shade line up across the dozen or more Tarte Eyeshadow Palettes we already own! This is such a repetitive launch that no one asked for and no one likely wants. Tarte did well this past Holiday season and Maneater was a pretty awesome launch as well but Energy we simply didn’t need it. Interestingly enough Tarte’s website says sold out. Hmmmmmmmmmm! I have doubts that’s true!
