Bare Minerals Gen Nude Blonzer Blush + Bronzer ($25) is a new blush and bronzer hybrid which has a talc-free and vegan formula that’s available in three shades for Spring/Summer 2021. The formula contains light-reflecting pearls to give skin a radiant glow and a pretty touch of warm color.

I don’t like bronzer but when I wear it I typically combine it with my favorite cheek stain or blush to make it more wearable. When I saw the new Bare Minerals Gen Nude Blonzer Blush + Bronzer I instantly knew I wanted a few of the shades. I ended up hauling all three actually but I’m only featuring one in this review! More shade reviews upcoming shortly.

I was actually sort of shocked when I finally got mine as they aren’t as beautiful as the promo images. The promo images not only look more pigmented but they also appear to have a baked formula or even a more raised, dome shape. They’re a lot smaller than I envisioned as well! I was thinking more along the lines of a Laura Geller Baked n Blush formula and appearance but in reality these are as small as the regular Gen Nude Blushes. The compact is about the size of MAC Blush and holds 0.13 oz of blush. It’s just a lot smaller than I thought it would be.

Jergens Skin Smoothie for Those Themed Shower Days

I picked up some of the new Jergens Skin Smoothie Body Lotions because suddenly I’m into themed shower days. Anyone here of this new trend? Well, maybe it’s not totally new! Everyone on Tiktok is doing these themed showers and suddenly I wanted in! Basically, what you do is gather up all the same scented items. For example, you can do a coconut shower theme where you wash your and conditioner your hair with coconut shampoo and conditioner, use a coconut scrub on your legs, hydrate with a coconut lotion, and of course, wear a coconut scented body spray or perfume! Yeah, I feel like I’m a freshman in high school again doing this but you know, sometimes, when you get home after a long day and just want to relax matching up all your favorite bath and body products and taking a long shower isn’t that bad an idea.

While at the evil empire aka Walmart recently I noticed they had these new Jergens Skin Smoothie Body Lotions and they were pretty cheap so I grabbed up the Cucumber & Melon and Pink Grapefruit & Pomelo scented one! There’s also a Avocado & Apple as well! These are super lightweight, non-sticky, and they absorb easily into skin. I totally did a cantaloupe and honeydew melon theme last week and I have no regrets. Cantaloupe and honeydew Melon is one of my favorite fruity fragrances! I like the formula on these since they are so lightweight they aren’t tacky or greasy! They absorb easily and provide light moisture to skin. The cucumber melon has a nice refreshing scent and the grapefruit is a nice zesty, tart citrus smell! I need more body lotion like I need a hole in my head but hey, sometimes you just gotta buy the inexpensive body lotion and enjoy it am I right?
