Hey guys!

Sorry for being so invisible today but it’s been a rather busy Monday for your Muse! Tis 7pm and I’m quite happy to be home finally. I’m looking forward to a hot Lush bath, my weekly fix of Gossip Girl (the Muse has a soft spot for Lonely Boy!), and getting this review of Urban Decay’s hot new Holiday 24/7 Eye Pencils out to you!

Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-Eye Pencils are now available in a 5 piece set in two color variations! Sweet right?

Each set contains five mini Urban Decay 24/7 Eyeliner Pencils for $29 USD which works out to about $5.80 USD per a pencil. The pencils are a tad bit skinnier and shorter than the regular size version but at $5.80 USD each compared to $16 USD for one shade, the Muse says, it’s a steal and a deal! Granted I love the large version and own several colors but I really like the idea of shelling out $13 USD more and getting five shades instead of one! Variety is the spice of life after all!

Travel Size versus Regular Size

The two sets available are Velvet Rope and VIP together they makeup nearly 75% of the colors offered in the Urban Decay 24/7 line. The line consists of a total of 15 shades so if you purchase the two sets you’ll end up with 10 of the 15 shades available! A nice little stash of color…great right? The Muse takes all these things into consideration for you!

Now these are postively my favorite liners out of all the liners I own. They have a gorgeous formula that’s super soft, super creamy, and beautifully blendable. Oh did I mention waterproof? No raccoon eyes here!

Out of the two sets VIP is my favorite considering it has the more vibrant shades of the two sets. VIP contains all of the following shades:

  • Lucky-Metallic Cooper
  • Electric-Aqua
  • Zero-Black
  • Covet-Peacock Green
  • Lust-Royal Purple

Velvet Rope contains more neutral shades that aren’t as bold as VIP but that doesn’t take away from the colors in this set being just as nice. Velvet Rope contains all of the following shades:

  • Zero-Black
  • Yeyo-Pure White (Oh my god awesome Twiggy shade! So Mod!)
  • 1999-Plum with specks of Gold
  • Bourbon-Brown with specks of Gold
  • Stash-Olive Green

The sets are ideal as gifts but spoiling yourself with ‘em can’t hurt either! Even though it’s 76 degrees today in New York my head is all about awesome Holiday offerings from Urban Decay!

I wish I didn’t live in Sweden, because those are just about the most gorgeous sets I’ve ever seen. Seriously love them.

Only bad thing in my opinion is that you get Zero twice, though. Then again, if you have to get two eyeliners of the same color, black’s not a bad pick.

hiya tove!

Thanks for stopping by! Aren’t they lovely? Aw :( I hate having lemmings from abroad. Have you tried MUA for a possible swap partner?

That’s true but I firgure since it’s a shade I use daily I’ll probably get through two of ‘em easily ;)

Agreed, getting black is pretty good since it’s probably one we all reach for daily!

Thanks for the comment! hope to speak to you again soon!

Hugs!

I have been looking for these! I really want Velvet Rope, and I keep visiting my local Sephora if they have them yet. So far, no luck.

Still, that doesn’t mean these won’t be mine when the holiday comes around. :)

Hello again Muse =]
You have so many posts that I miss some of them sometimes, LoL.

I'm reppin' beautiful BC. In all fairness, Japanese cosmetics are obtainable in Asian malls here but the prices are RIDICULOUS. Lash Expander costs $40 CAD while JS blushes are $119 CAD!

Anywho, Envy, Covet, and Electric look gorgeous!

Keep up the awesome reviews, I <3 reading them!

Just to clarify, the malls would only carry one or two pieces, but not like, have the actual collection/entire line. Sorry for the the confusion!

I want to get these, but my Zero is not staying on my waterline! It’s smudging everywhere and it really saddens me. I don’t know what to do.

hi Arianne!

How are you today? :) I know Sephora online has ‘em but the stores are sometimes lagged with updating stock. Prob be in stores at the middle of October or so I’d say!

hehe I hear you! ;) If you get desperate you can always order online ;) Believe it’s free ship at UD or Sephora w00t!

Thanks for the comment :)
Hugs!

morning dark nyx!

Good to see you again today :)

LOL sorry about that. I get a bit hyper with my posting :-)

oh my god those prices are obscene! YAK! We have a few places that carry a few different items from Korea, Japan, Etc…even some JS in a smaller Asian store in the city however it’s very costly here as well :(

We all need to move to Japan lol!

Those are my favs :) especially electric!

Thanks so much dark nyx :) I really appreciate your visiting daily *hugs*

hi again dark nyx….

oh same here…I know :-) sadly it’s all exclusive to asia! Damn it :)

Morning Asta!

How are you love?

For serious? Ew! That stinks. Is it an older pencil? I’ve never had a prob with smudging at all with these. They stay put until I wash ‘em off.

Are you using them on your upper or lower lash line?

Beside MAC Technakohl these are my fav liners around!

So sorry to hear they are smudging on you damn :P

These are jujst gorgues. I like Covet the best. Wish US hadn’t pulled itself out of Malaysia so at least I could try them out.

Thanks for a great review.

Hey Musey!

No, it’s a fairly recent purchase. I’ve had it long enough to sharpen it once and I use it almost every day. The first few days it stayed for a few hours before sliding off my lower waterline, but now it stays for less than an hour. It like migrates to my lashline, which is okay but not what I want to happen! I’ve noticed that my eyes have been more irritated lately but I figured it was due to mild allergies. I just don’t understand it!

Kayvid: It’s crazy how much I love UD 24/7 eyeliners…Currently I own Zero and Honey in full size and can barely stop myself from buying these sets…I own tons of eyeliners and it’d take me ages to use those up and here come these TWO whole sets with ALL the colors…Arrghh :-)

the Muse October 1, 2008 at 8:12 am

morning asta!

ew that’s awful :( Hmmmm maybe it’s a fluke..have you since purchased anymore?

Do you have oily lids or skin for that matter?

Maybe your allergies are working alot of water around your eye area and making it dribble off :(

It seriously doesn’t move on me however if I used it on my sister (she has oily lids and allergies) I imagine she might have same prob as you with it sliding right off!

Maybe try some MAC FL instead?

morning kayvid!

how are you today gorgeous?

LOL I totally can relate..I seriously own far too many liners but I love the idea of a set that offers all the colors for such a great price. it makes collecting them all easier ;) I wish they’d consider a 3rd set with the rest of the shades, I’d be all over that :)

Hey Muse :)

If I’m remembering correctly, VIP should be a set that they sold last Christmas? Or at least something very similar to it b/c I meant to get it last time.
Well, looks like I’ve been blessed and given a second chance to buy these! *giggles*
Very pretty indeed!

Darn, I had to buy this set too now! I ordered it in Velvet Rope (although the pencil from the other set in Electric looks so lovely! I want it for summer though…).

You truly are going to break me, Muse! (^_~)
