L’oreal Go 360 Clean Cleanser Deep Facial Cleanser Review

Oh I’d say by now everyone’s gotten their grubby, greedy little hands on the new L’Oreal Go 360 Clean Cleansers right? If not you’ve at least seen them at your local Target, CVS, etc…right?

L'oreal Go 360 Clean Cleanser 11

Have a little jump to hear my babble on the new L’oreal Go 360 Clean Cleanser Deep Facial Cleanser.

For the sake of blogging I did indulge in three of the four formulas of the new L’Oreal Go 360 Clean Cleansers. See that’s how I justify my crazy beauty habits, “but it’s for the blog….I have to tell my peeps that read my crazy babbling about the new bits popping up….it’s for the blog…” Pretty good excuse right?

L'oreal Go 360 Clean Cleanser Deep Facial Cleanser1

Anyway.

As I said I got three and I though I’d do individual reviews on each because they all did react a bit different on my skin and produced different results and such. Cool?

Today I’m doing the Deep Facial Cleanser which is the green version.

What L’Oreal says:

  • Smaller pores: Go 360 Clean shrinks the appearance of pore size and refinishes the skins surface to reveal skin with more clarity
  • Deeper cleansing: Unique formulas reach down deeper to every last pore for a deep, deep clean. Keeps pores clean day after day
  • Softer skin: Sweeps away dead skin cells for an extraordinary softening and smoothing effect

So…..let’s break this up for a well rounded review.

First of all it’s a gel formula that smells very fresh and very clean. Love the scent! It’s supposed to smell of orange flower and mint but I don’t really get either, mostly it’s almost like a fresh shampoo scent, quite pleasant.

As you know it comes with a scrublet which is simply a cleansing disc with a rubbery feel and super soft points. I like the scrublet very much. If Santa failed to get you that Clarisonic brush you so desperately wanted go grab yourself a scrublet, it produces similar results, not as great mind you but it’s the cheap girl’s dupe. It works fabulously. It doesn’t feel harsh on my skin as I originally though it would. It’s soft and works up the 360 Cleanser into a nice foam. Honestly, if I fail to use the cleanser in the future I can still very much see myself taking advantage of using this little guy.

L'oreal Go 360 Clean Cleanser Deep Facial Cleanser3

L'oreal Go 360 Clean Cleanser Deep Facial Cleanser4

L’Oreal says the formula will help reduce oily areas and dry skin patches but that’s simply not the case sadly.

Here’s the deal. If you have oily skin and larger pores L’oreal Go 360 Clean Cleanser Deep Facial Cleanser may produce good results for you. Normal to dry skin may experience drying which is the case for me.

Ok…let’s see.

First off my skin is behaving normally lately. I’m very dry in the Winter, flaky dry, tight, itchy dry….but I’ve been re-testing a Clarisonic Brush plus using Skin Food moisturizers and it seems to have made my skin perform very normal. No oily forehead, no flakes…..

My first try with this cleanser was fabulous. I love how it foams, I love how it feels like it’s REALLY getting in there and deep cleaning my skin. Dry off my skin and the trouble crops up. It leaves my skin feeling squeaky clean however it also leaves it tight and dry. My 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th test out and still the same results. It foams wonderfully, really gives a good deep clean, but still I’m left with very tight, dry skin. After moisturizer it goes back to normal ever so slightly but I’m unsure at this point if I’ll continue to abuse myself with it.

Overall,I’ll probably ditch it in the long run as I can’t afford having my skin suffer through a dry, patchy period, I was getting to used to it performing normally. However, I feel like it would perform very well for oily skin and larger pores which is why I do urge anyone with such a skin type to try it out, it may likely work. Anyone with normal, dry skin may see the same results as me.

I wanted to love it but I just couldn’t.

No likey.

Stay tuned as I’ll be reviewing the other formulas in this line very shortly.

If you’ve tried L’Oreal Go 360 Clean Cleansers I’d really love to hear your results!

Tell ’em!

These are available now at your local drugstore. I suggest Target for purchase as it’s the cheapest with a price of $5.49.

I haven’t seen these in Sweden yet but I hope they will get here later on. I’m curious to hear how the other cleansers worked for you and your dry skin since my skin is also dry.

    • the Muse

emelie hope they arrive soon hun!!!!!! 🙂 I’ll get on those reviews of the other ones very soon for you 😀 next few days! promise!

  • Katherine

I have very oily skin and large pores, so this might be the perfect product for me! And I’m loving the idea of the scrub brush (if it’s soft). Thanks for the great review, Muse.

    • the Muse

oh it’s very very soft Katherine. It feels lovely on the skin I love the scrublet! I think for oily skin this could be a god sent. Sadly it dried me out! But I’m gonna give a re-try come summer when I’m a tad more oily 🙂

    • Kris

I have very oily skin that breaks out often! I was really surprised I have been using the orange bottle for two weeks now and I have really noticed a difference! however; I do follow up with an oil free moisturizer because there was a slight tight feeling!

My advice is its cheap so it’s worth a try, GOOD LUCK 🙂

  • dina

i would def. be interested in trying out if they have a formula for dry skin 🙂 or even normal for summer.
p.s. unrelated-have you tried the philosophy when hope is not enough balm? i picked it up but haven’t tried it yet but seeing good reviews around, curious what your take on it is.
    thank you dear 🙂

    • the Muse

dina they have a cream version which is supposed to work for dry skin…testing 😀 now!

I HAVENT GRRRRR I’ll see about getting some soon and reviewing as I’ve wanted it for a while!

      Hugs!

    • no-one in particular

I stumbled upon this review because several of my friends have bought this brand of facewash. There is a formula for “sensitive skin” available; in the stores it’s a white bottle with a blue scrubber thing. Most cleansers I have tried have just dried my skin out, but this one is actually really good. I suggest you try the sensitive skin formula. I still get the really clean feeling, but without the annoying dryness and tight skin.

      • the Muse

that’s no one! lots of folks suggested I go with the sensitive so I might just do that! As the other three were harsh on my skin!

  • steelnpurple

I will have to skip this one, I have dry skin and the winter weather is not making it any better so to speak. Sounded interesting though, great idea to include a scrublet like that!
Looking forward to the other two reviews!

    • the Muse

stealnpurple no go…dry skin users beware. made me tight and itchy! 😛 Love the scrublet 😀 are you oily by chance in the Summer? I’m hoping this will go in Summer when I face a shiny forehead!

        • the Muse

steel hopefully we can take advantage of it than! won’t dry our faces out if we are already oily to begin with ha!

  • Paloma

Regarding the Clarisonic giveaway that you are hopefully putting the results up soon for:

I have Psoriasis. When stress in my life gets really bad, my skin breaks out enormously. I actually had to go to a large portion of my high school days with a hat, all throughout the classes. My face is currently so bad that I can’t even wear foundation, powder, whatever….if I do, mainly around my nose and inner cheek area around my nose, it cakes up and looks five billion times worse. So I end up having to walk around with my skin looking terrible and I think that something like the Clarisonic might help my skin greatly….it wouldn’t fix my skin condition, but if I used it regularly, I’m sure that it would be much easier to apply makeup to look my best every day. I cannot afford half of the stuff I would like in order to care for my skin, so this would be a miracle…you would be like Jesus to me…seriously… I know that you are probably doing random drawings, but if you might consider peoples situations for the clarisonic giveaway specifically, please consider mine…..

I know I am asking a lot, but I hope you will understand…

    • the Muse

      hi paloma.

wow I’m really sorry to hear about your skin woes! I believe a fellow blogger friend, SarahPuffy, suffers from psorasis as well. She had some really bad dry skin days. I have flaky crazy going on at times too but not psoriasis related.

I’d honestly love it if I had a brush to give to every single reader that logs on just to say thank you for stopping by daily, commenting, and reading my blog. I’ve met and chatted to so many wonderful people in the past few years of blogging I wish I had a little gift to give them all.

Sadly, I can’t really just give you the brush. I think alot of readers would be pretty upset if I favored any one person as the winner that’s why it’s a random giveaway and a winner is selected randomly…that makes it fair for everyone who entered because honestly if I was just going to gift it away to someone I wouldn’t have the little contest for everyone to join in on you know? Also the contest ended a while ago and the winner was selected and already got the brush.

I hope you understand. All the giveaways are random and I don’t make special exceptions for anyone who enters otherwise as I said it would be pointless to do a giveaway at all.

Good Luck on the other giveaways you entered on Musings, I hope you win!!!!!!!

      Happy (almost) New Year hun!

  • sarah

Hi, I love your site…it was the first beauty site I ever found and I have been a faithful reader eversince……but….why do you review things that aren’t for you? Such as reviewing this cleanser for oily skin when you say you h ave super dry skin? Of course you won’t like it and it won’t work for you…it is not meant to. I was just wondering because sometimes I get confused as to whether it is a bad product…or just bad for you??? Thanks and keep up the great work.

    • the Muse

      hi paige/sarah.

Thanks for reading my blog appreciate it! This is the Deep Facial Cleanser formula is meant for Combination Skin, Normal Skin according to L’Oreal. The cleanser is not meant for oily skin only. I fit into the normal skin at the moment as my skin has been behaving normally as I mentioned in my review. After using the cleanser, which is meant for normal skin (which is my skin), it made me feel dry and tight. Can you explain how I confused you? As I think I covered everything in the review and explained my own skin type at the moment, how to use the cleanser, how it felt after I used it, and how I think it would be good for oily skin after experiencing the dryness.

Let me know what I missed or explain how I am confusing you and I’ll do my best to help.

    • the Muse

ps it’s only $6.99 so it’s pretty budget friendly to purchase for yourself and try out. Maybe you’ll have better results! Hope this helps!

  • pinkcrow

I have been using the sensitive skin one for the past few days. It hasn’t bothered my dry skin. Love that little scrublet. And I utterly love that you store it in the bottle so it doesn’t get lost. Great packaging design!

    • the Muse

hey pinkcrow another yay 😀 I wish I was in the yay field…it’s just too drying for me sigh but love the packaging and the scrublet, totally a+ for those!

  • Morgan

    Hello!
I was wondering if this cleanser had any medication or salicylic acid to help with acne. I am in my teens and having a bit of a struggle. Do you think this cleanser is worth a try?

    • the Muse

hi morgan this isn’t an acne treatment wash and doesn’t contain salicylic acid hun. You are prob best going with something else for that specific need particularly something high end if you can afford it as over the counter just doesn’t cut it for acne. Try Lush Herbalism.

      • andrea

actually it does include salicylic acid. i have the bottle right here next to me and it says that it does. btw i love this thing it really works for me and i have normal skin so try it out.

        • the Muse

great thanks andrea mystery solved why I am SO dry!

Glad it’s working out hun! no luck here sadly, lots of dryness 🙁

  • Rhon228

I currently use Clinique’s three step plan and exfoliate. Hurry up and post the other reviews so I can decide if I am going to give any of them a run. I, too, have dry skin in the winter and combination in Florida’s spring, summer, and fall. I was hoping to simplify my current regiment.

    • the Muse

hey rhon 😀 hurrying hurrying 🙂 so far it’s bad luck all around with these for me but I think they are worthy of a try as it seems I’m the only one who has experienced bad times with ’em, they are getting rave reviews all around. It’s only 5.49 at target so u might wanna give a whirl and see if it’ll simplify and cheapfiy your skincare 😀

  • Twiga

    Dear Muse,
I recently saw this in my new issue of Seventeen, and was quickly won over by the Scrublet. I had been looking for something to treat my mild acne, and didn’t dry out my face. So I hopped on Amazon, and researched the different kinds. In the end, I ordered the Sensitive Skin one, hoping that it wouldn’t dry out my skin. I have normal skin with small pores, so I shure am giddy that I didn’t order the green one, though I’m sorry it dried out your skin. I cannot wait to hear your other reviews, but I would like to know: Did it treat your acne? and Do you clean your face twice a day with this, or only once?

    • the Muse

hi Twiga 🙂 I’m not sure if treats acne from an ingredient stand point it doesn’t contain anything in the way of curing acne plus I rarely have pimples so can’t speak from my own experience with the product. I’m doubtful it’ll do much aside from closing pores up and drying skin up if you happen to have oily skin. But aside from that the acne you might want to depend on something else for.

So far my testing is a fail as most of the line is drying me out bad 🙁 Please stop back soon after you’ve test and let us know how it’s working for you, curious 🙂

  • Lily Diggory

I have super oily skin, and fairly large pores, so yeah it does work for me. I especially loved the scrub. It’s really gentle.

    • the Muse

Lily that’s awesome! For me, so far, it’s a no go sigh! But I’m looking forward to Summer and hopeful it’ll be better with my shiny forehead!

  • Brick Theaten

Can you explain which of the colors is meant for oily skin? They are not easy to see from the labels. Which color is for which type of skin?

  • Amy

this is random but when you put on the face scrub are you supposed to wash it off or just leave it on??? the package dosen’t specify and im not sure 🙂

    • the Muse

      hey amy!

I run the scrublet under water, squeeze a dollop of cleanser on it after, and start scrubbing on my already wet face. Hope this helps!

  • Madeline

Hey! I have really dry and flaky skin and I was wondering about another product you mentioned, the Skin Food moisturizer. Which one do you use and do they ship to the United States?

    • the Muse

Madeline skinfood is in Korea and does not ship to the US sadly. It’s the Lettuce line that I’m currently using

  • Ian

Hey, I’ve been looking for something to treat my mild acne (sometimes
none, sometimes 6-10 small spots where I break out) and had been considering this. Previously I’ve used the Neutrogena Wave, which worked well, but haven’t used it for a couple weeks after it stopped working (I think water got inside it :/). I usually clean my face at night with the Wave, and then use Aveda Outer Peace acne relief moisturizer (0.5% salicylic acid). Should I go with the Loreal instead of the Wave, and should I keep my routine? Thanks for the help!

    • the Muse

ian as far as I know these do not contain anything to treat acne….I really can’t tell you whether to keep your current routine or change it hun. Products vary so much it’s difficult to say with acne. I don’t have much of a spot problem myself so I really can’t tell you the best way to treat it and particularly can’t say of the 360 cleanser will work. I’m sorry 🙁 I’d read further reviews to see if anyone has a good success treating acne with the product as I know my skin is normal at the moment and it simply dried me out. That was my experience with it.

Sorry I couldn’t be of more help!

      • Monica

Hi, just wanted to say that the one i bought, the orange one, does contain salicylic acid. It doesnt say how much it has, but it has it. So maybe it will work for mild acne. Hope this helps. =)

  • alli

Hey, I just bought the Go Clean 360 deep cleaner today! Though I have normal skin, and it tends to get dry in the winter. I tried it out, and it does make my skin tight too. So, After I use this cleaner, I put on clinique’s facial lotion and its a great combo. So my skin wont be dry after I clean it.

    • the Muse

hey alli! Same problem here. I did notice that moisturizer afterward help but after a full week of doing this I ended up stripping my skin and not helping it sadly 🙁 I stopped using it. My skin just couldn’t handle it sadly!

  • Cordula

I love these!!! I started off with the sensitive, which I see is the only one you didn’t get! Try it, it might make that ‘super tight’ feeling go away and be the perfect balance you need! Its the only one I’ve tried so far, but I really am impressed. And ditto on the scrubblet…I thought it was gimicky but I really like it. I’m actually in process of writing about it now!

    • the Muse

hey cordula def need to try out the sensitive as the rest were terrible for me, very tight and itchy! I thought so too but ended up really a cool feature 😀 likey the scrublet!

  • Angela

So I boutthe Go 360 deep cream cleanser a couple of days ago, the first time i used it my face felt fresh and clean, the second time i used it i was given the same wonderful results. I don’t use any other products, my skin is normal not too oily and not too dry, however when I stress out my oil levels tend to hit the roof and well bring on the acne right! lol well on the third time i used it, i woke up the next morning with my face extremely tight (almost like your face is about to peel after a really bad sunburn) and my face was extremely red, I’m still waiting for my face to calm down, I don’t know what to say about this product. Oh yea, I forgot to mention, my face is really itchy too.

    • the Muse

same problems here Angela but not after three or four times use. First use I had a problem with it. Thankfully no burning but itchy, tight, flaky…my skin just didn’t love these sadly. I blame the mint, seems to be menthol in three of the four and that could be what’s causing your skin to freak out 🙁

  • Ally

Holy Crap! I’m here to warn some ppl out there……….So i purchased the green cleanser on a whim. My results; like you muse, the scrublet was great producing a really nice lather and left my skin very clean (i <3 cream cleansers) Now keep in mind that i sometimes have dry skin spells……..BUT immediately after washing my face the first time my skin felt sooooo dry and tight. I thought well nothing my moisturizer cant fix right? Wrong! by the fourth time using it, I honestly started to break out! I'm 18 but never had any acne problems and really after the 4th time using it, i rinsed my face off and saw little bumps on my forehead, chin, and cheeks that were not there prior to cleansing. Threw it out! Sorry L'oreal you make great mascara but I'll never touch your cleansers again……. (About that mascara – yeah for real try the voluminous in carbon black – ur welc!)

  • Medium

I purchased the Deep Cream Cleanser(Pink Scrubbie) at first when i used it i thought: well this is great! Its smells okay and i LOVE, LOVE the scrubbie. Then came time to rinse and pat dry. This stuff doesnt rinse clean. My face felt sticky. I had to re-rinse my face several times in order for my towel not to stick when i was patting my face dry. I assumed that i may have used to much (quarter size) so the next day i reduced the amount i used to a nickle size amount STILL it did not rinse clean. HOWEVER, I was elated to see that my pores seemed smaller and my skin had a nice glow. BUT, by day 6 the area around my mouth began to dry excessively i got a really rough dry patch in the corner of my mouth (NOT SEXY AT ALL, LET ME TELL YOU) even after applying moisturizer, this dry patch started to peel (EVEN LESS SEXY). I’m left with a dark mark that i am applying coco butter to clear up the spot(coco butter is great for things like this). I will have to say that in comparision to Neutrogena’s Deep Clean Facial cleanser Loreal needs to get back in the lab and try the formula again. I will give “Go 360 Clean” a 1.5 out of 5 stars because the pores did appear smaller. Go 360 Clean fails for not rinsing clean off, over drying the skin and for not including directions as to frequency of use on the back of the package. I should have never stepped out on my relationship with Neutrogena. The grass is NOT greener on the other side.

    • the Muse

aw sorry to hear it medium! I had a bad experience with it too and I’d say I’m at around a 1 rating too…the only reason I’d consider going higher was b/c the scrublet was a nice extra and really worked well!

  • Jaz

Eeeeeek. Yeah, I tried this too and I already had dry skin in the first place, so when I tried this. OMG. Super dry! It felt so tight and uncomfortable.

I will not be using this anymore. :/

    • the Muse

jaz me either. I ended up returning all of them! They just made my skin tight as heck!

  • kels

I just wanted to point out that storing the scrubby in the bottle as indicated may not be such a good idea, because a lot of moisture will be trapped, which would be a great place for germs and bacteria to grow and contaminate your results. BUT, this cute little scrubber has a suction cup on the end of it, which means you can stick it to your mirror, shower wall, or tiled bathroom wall so that it can dry better!

    • the Muse

hi kels thanks so much for the info. I normally dry it out prior to storing it so that shouldn’t be a prob.

  • Lindsey

I tried the blue kind for sensitive skin, and I thought it smelt REALLY bad, and I want my skin to feel and smell good, which one outta the four would you recommend the most?

    • the Muse

hi lindsey did you read my review 🙂 I have this review and another which both speak rather poorly of the product so def not up for recommending them at all after what they did to my skin! Hope this helps, maybe re-read the review as I have all the info in the reviews about how I didn’t like the product. After the way it dried me out, caused my skin to feel two sizes too small, and just made me all flaky and itchy I def wouldn’t recommend for a purchase although I guess it depends on your skin type as some people had great success with them, I sadly did not 😛

  • Jackie

Obviously, after every cleansing regime, you must moisturize your skin so you don’t feel the drying effects. Very important.

    • the Muse

hi jackie yup I know but this still dried out my skin terribly so even after moisturizer skin was tight.

  • Samantha

I just bought the deep cream cleanser today, hope the results are good. I have big pores so I’m hoping it makes them smaller. And i can’t believe how soft the little scrubbie is, I love it!

  • STL

i really don’t like it, i was excited when i bought it a week ago, i started using it it first couple of days it was great on my skin.BUT it left my skin feeling very dry, & 3 days ago i started ti break out , & i never break out & today im started to break out again & i stopped using it 2 days ago. i have the green one & im very disappointed that my skin broke out from it.

    • the Muse

sorry to hear stl. I didn’t have break out probs but sadly it dried me out BAD!

    • michelle

I had the same thing happen to me! I thought it was PMS at first, but as it’s been 2 weeks of lovely break-outs, it has to be the cleanser. I have very oily skin, but this makes my chin area super tight. I’ll have to continue my search of a cleanser that actually cleans well and does not cause break-outs! 🙂

      • the Muse

aw michelle sorry to hear it. Didn’t work for me at all sadly!

  • kels

it can be a little drying, you need a good moisturizer with it. but, breaking out isnt a bad thing. it means that the cleanser has opened your pores enough to draw up deep down impurities. when the break out heals the skin will be much clearer and brighter.

  • Emma

Currently I am using the Philsophy facial cleanser from Sephora and it is doing good, but I have a problem with oil in my T-zone and the occasional dry skin in spots near my jaw. Dry skin isn’t really a problem for me, and I don’t want it to be if I try this product. On the other hand my other oily skin problem is completely taking control of my beauty life. I messes up my make-up by wearing away and discoloring it, or just going through it making me look as if I had a runny nose or I just took a drink of water and missed my mouth. It is very dreadful and if this product says that it can help me there, I would like to believe it. I am desperate to fix up this oil problem, but I don’t know if I want to risk more occasional dry skin along with it. What do you suggest? Oh, and so your answer is fully helpful, you must know that I am only 13 years of age and I live in a small town with no Target. Just a Wal-Mart and Walgreens, but I don’t think they sell the product. Please respond, it will forever help my curiosity.

    • the Muse

Hi Emma. Perhaps you should try a good primer prior to wearing your makeup. Sometimes that will prep and prime your skin and mattify it before your foundation application also a good mattifying powder as well.

      I hope this helps!

  • Emma

Sorry for a 2nd bother, but since I am a teenager I am presently using acne care products, and I don’t need anymore. Does this product contain any sylsic acid or any other acne fighting ingredient? Oh, I have another question. Sorry about my curiousity, but when you have a chance to get answers, you should always take all your control of it. Lots of boeauty consultants say that if you have oily skin, but don’t want to leave your current wonderful cleanser, then find an every other day strong scrub. Could I use this as a scrub that I would use everyother day and it won’t effect my normal routine? Well, except help my oiliness. PLEASE responf 🙂

    • the Muse

      Hi Emma.

Yup this does contain salicylic acid. I’m not really sure about recommending it as an every other day scrub, you can try it out and see if it works. I personally ditched it completely after testing because it destroyed my skin and made me dry, tight, and itchy. I find skincare is a very personal thing and it’s a matter of error and omission, testing, and trying to see what works best for you. Perhaps you’d like to stick with your own regime as it is and try using it as a scrub to see what happens.

      Good Luck!

  • Michelle

I recently just bought the Loreal go 360 cleanser and I just love the scrublet. I don’t use the cleanser because I also feel like its just another cleanser and it dried out my skin as well. But dang I’m really happy with the results. My skin is ten times more smooth and my only issue is that now that my skin is so smooth from the scrublet, I’ve actually produced more oil in my t-zone because of my combination skin so i just take oil blotters with me where ever I go. I would seriously buy another one just for the scrublet.

  • Renee

I would never recommend this cleasing system to any of my clients. Sodium Laureth Sulfate should always be avoided. There are also several salicylic acids and betain (beet enzyme, very exfoliating) as well as benzoyl – some of these ingredients work for some people so Loreal just threw them all in to cover their bases. This product is completely stripping of oil and you will end up with a compromised barrier layer and compeltely dehydrated. You don’t need the scrubber. Just use a wash cloth morning and night and really do a thorough job with it and you’ll be much better off.
In the skin care world dry means laking oil and dehydrated means lacking water.
Please understand that you can not make your oil go away! All you can do is manage it. Teens make a lot of skin very quickly and the oily types tend to make a lot of oil. You want your oil to flow when ever possible. But during the day that is very inconvenient. A primary ingredient for absorbing excess oil is nylon-12 which is a mattifying agent found in many cosmetics.

    • the Muse

hey renee thanks for all the great info. def doesn’t work on me sadly.

  • emily

i tried the deep cream cleanser, and the minute i put it on my face, it actually felt like a massage on my face! Though it did not have a nice fruity scent which i like. i give the loreal go 360 clean cream cleanser a 9/10!

    • the Muse

hey emily thanks for letting us know how much you liked it 😀 glad it’s workin’ for ya!

  • Sherry

Hey, I am using the orange one (deep exfoliating) and I love it. It was drying out my skin at first. Then I remembered a little tip I heard about moisturizing right after washing, and well that must have done the trick. I also stopped scrubbing as hard. Anyway, my skin looks and feels great now. I do have a slightly oily T-zone as they call it, so maybe that it why. Or, maybe the orange one is the better one! Haha, can’t wait to see your other reviews.

    • the Muse

Glad to hear how great it’s working for you Sherry! Def always moisturize well after use but sadly still made me incredibly dry le sigh! Wish it worked as I love the scrublet!

  • Lauren

This product worked well for me. I have dry skin and I picked up the sensitive one. This was the only one out of the four that said it would not over dry. As a matter of fact, my skin is no longer dry and it feels great. I believe you should try the one for sensitive skin and see how it works. I found the scrublet uncomfortable when putting it inbetween your index and middle finger, so I hold it at the end with my thumb, index, and middle finger

  • sani

    so far so good :3
i have really sensitive skin and this is actually the frst product i bought that didnt dry out my skin. i love it.

    • the Muse

great news sami 😀 glad to hear it’s working so great for you hun!

  • kristi

Hey! i agree completely! i got the green one, if it makes a difference, and it feels really good, i love the lather of it, the scrubber popping in and out of the bottle is really handy, and it leaves my skin feeling good ..But… im pretty positive that it was the reason i broke out the second day 0f using it!.. since it was the only thing i put on my face.. My skin gets dry pretty easy, so its possibly just the way my skin is, but right after using it i woke up with acne and i had a clear face before use.. soo i dont like it lol i wish it worked though because it looked legit and it felt so clean.. :/

  • Tay

Alrighty, so today I bought the deep exfoliating scrub, and my my, I’m kinda impressed. :] It smells exactly like fresh cut peaches in the summertime, the scrub was mild and gentle, but as you described, it felt like it was actually working “deep down”. I have combination skin, and after using this, I feel no tightness or dryness. My skin is also really really soft. 😀 Woo! Good choice, so far!

  • Jessica

Hey everyone! I came to this site to see if anyone else had had any problems with this product. I have really sensitive skin, so I tried out the Deep Facial Cleanser for sensitive skin (unscented.) The bottle is the white and light blue one.

Oh what a mistake it was! Not only did my skin start prickling and eventually started drying out, but I also developed a rash all over my face! It took a few days and a good moisturizer to get rid of it. I have sensitive skin, but never before had I reacted so badly to a beauty product (especially one that is supposedly made for sensitive skin.) I took a look at the ingredients, and things became clear: it’s just a list of chemicals! Anyway, if this product did this to my skin, I can’t imagine that it would be heathy. Sure it may give you a sense of feeling clean (in my case, because it stripped out a layer of skin) but it will just make your skin produce more oil. My 2 cents: don’t use!

    • Lexy

Jessica, the EXACT same thing happened to me!!! but mine took longer then a few days to go away….how did you get yours to go away within a few days? what did you use? helpp please 🙂

  • Monique

Hey everyone! I just wanted to let you know that the orange exflotiating one works best for me. I have a little bit of oily skin due to stress from school (I’m only 14) And exfoliants always work best for me with blackheads and sometimes whiteheads when they sometimes pop up. Anyway, the orange one smells so fruity and i just love it! though I always need to apply a moisturizer afterwards because it does get dry. And finally I just love the brush its so soft and feels like its really cleaning my face. If you do not have serious acne…I recommend this exfoliant for normal oily skin 🙂 ( remember the moisturizer afterwards)

  • Anna

Hi there! I read this review right after I bought the product [normally I read them before buying, but I was too excited!] In my OB clinical, we have to scrub up every morning with these foam soap-filled sponges with a scrubber on one side. We all say how clean we feel after we do that so when I saw this scrubber for my face I immediately grabbed at it. I have the deep cream cleanser and I tried it once but it did indeed make my face feel like uncomfortable plastic. I have dry, acne-prone skin and my new favorite thing is HONEY. I’ve been doing honey masks but now I do a dollop of cream wash and a dollop of honey on the scrubber and go to town. Normally my face gets really tight after a wash no matter what, but it’s been a week and a half now of this regimen and my acne has cleared up about 50% and I’ve been sitting here for about 10 minutes after a wash and I have yet to put on moisturizer and it barely feels tight at all. If you have dry skin like me, I would definitely recommend adding honey! I don’t know if the deep clean cream cleanser is all that beneficial, but the honey and scrublet definitely are!

  • Melissa

This blogger and I had the exact same experience! I used the orange exfoliation because I have some peeling skin on my nose and eyebrow area. While I did feel clean, my face felt so tight and dry. I’ve an oily face, and while it was good to not feel gross, it was very uncomfortable. My cheeks also felt very raw after using it, and my skin stayed pinker than it usually is. I’m not sure if it was because I was allergic, though it didn’t feel warmer than usual (which is what happens when I have a reaction to skin creams) I think I’ll use it sparingly, but I’m glad I’m not the only one.

  • Kaitlyn

I got the sensitive skin one and it is great! I have no dryness and I love the little scrubber. It works really well. Try that one!

  • Lena

Great review! Honestly, I just got the cleanser for the little scrublet thing. I’ve seen people use it and it seems so cool and it is. =] But so far, after I’ve gotten the deep facial cleansing for sensitive skin one, its done nothing for me. I originally didn’t want to get the sensitive skin, because I have combination, but because of the little scrublet thing that was BLUE, I decided just to get it. The scrublet is worth it =] I’ll probably not be using the cleanser much though.

    • the Muse

hi lena haven’t tried the sensitive skin version (blue) but the others do contain menthol not sure about the one you have though 😀 thanks for sharing your review/thoughts! 😀

  • Khyrie

Okay so i tried the white bottle for sensitive skin it worked well for about 2 days then on the third day i woke up to an itchy face, at first i thought i had somesort of bug bite but by the next day i developed a full on rash it burns a bit and is really itchy and quite noticable. I DO NOT recommend using this product. If any one has had this same reaction how did you get rid of the rash?

    • the Muse

aw sorry to hear khyrie. I didn’t get a rash but did break out and have itching. Just stop using product a few days (moisturizer, cleanser, etc…) and let your skin return to normal. This normally works for me when I break out!

      Hope it helps!

  • Lexy

So I was searching any reactions people have had to the L’oreal Go 360 deep cleansing wash because after 2 days i woke up with a itchy burning NOTICABLE RASH but I had no idea what it wad from because it was only on certain areas of my face so I thought it was my 4 hour on the spot treatment cream…so I stopped using both it…but it stillgot progessively worse…mine was my eye lids, under my eyes my temples and chin area….like little bumps. I moisturized took anti histomeans benadryl…NOTHING HELPED!! Eventuallly my eyes swelled really bad i didnt even have a eye lid and I wouldnt go in public…the entire time i did not wear make up and rinsed my face with water only and used Clinical Therapy Intensive moisturing lotin from Vaseline because it soothed the itch. This last about 4 or 5 days until i went to the hospital because I had a horrible sore throat and couldnt even eat and i was flying the next day and I didnt know if they were related. The doctor said i had strep throat and that the face was nto related and that he didnt know what it was from but gave me a perscription of hydroxyzine to take for itching and stuff….so eventually i mean about 8 days it is visibally gone but you can still feel it….the rash almost turns into dry skin and comes off that way…..so FINALLY it went away and that was at easter I started using the cleanser again thinking it was my other cream and 2 days later it has happened again…and I cant believe I have to go through all of this again..and i’m in the middle of exams! so i have decided it HAS to be this product and i DO NOT recommend it to people with my skin i suppose but i do love the scrublet. So Khyrie….theres no fast fix…you have to let it run its course….it sucks I know….but if you find anything that speeds it up or works PLEASE let me know!

    • jessica

omg!!! thank you so much for posting this! i had the EXACT reaction after using the face wash. went to the dr. today and they couldn’t figure out what it was. i have tiny bumps that burn so bad all over my face. my face feels really dry and like i have a MAJOR sunburn. now i know for sure it is the face wash, which is what i suspected anyway. thanks so much!!!

  • Riley

I LovE this stuff. I have combo skin and medium pores and an occasional breakout…This is miraculous!

  • Amber

I hate this stuff. It made my skin WORSE. Okay I just used the green kind to get makeup off because I wear alot. Otherwise my skin was fine. But I started using it and it made my skin OILY and DRY. I hate oily and dry skin.

  • toree

i also used the pink cleansor and it gave me crows feet and bags under my eyes. my skin felt and looked tight and my pores were dry and wrinkly. i think it should say on the bottle something like for dry skin or for oily skin. but they dont s o i learned the hard way. i wouldnt recommend it to anyone.
    🙁

  • Remi

I just bought the brownish cleanser. I used it last night on my face. It really felt wonderful! In the morning it felt really nice and my skin was reaalllly soft. But my face was pretty red. It looked like a sunburn. Also when I’m about to put it on do I wet my face? And after that do I keep the cleanser stuff on or wash it off? Thanks 🙂

  • Nne

i got this 3 days ago from my mom !! thinkin this would help me before school started which is in 16 more days !! 2 days later after getting this product i woke up with very dry wrinkly skin all over my right cheek and some on my left cheek and almost over my chin , some patches on my forhead !! i look like a Freak its even worst than my pimple, i feel like i cant move my face, my brothers were laughin my sister was freaked out !! i will never use this product AGAIN i do not RECOMMEND , the bottle isnt even 3/4 used and i already have darker wrinkly spots on my face how am i gunna start my freshman year lookin like this, so today i lookin for ways to get rid of it ANYONE WANNA HELP ME !!

    • michelle

My skin got some very dry patches on it, especially my chin (and I am a VERY oily-skinned girl…). I actually had to slather Neosporin on my chin for about a week–on top of the break-outs I endured–but then everything went back to normal, and the break-outs stopped. Try it for a total of 2 weeks and then see what happens. And don’t forget to moisturize! 🙂

  • Katherine Wilbur

I would definitely say that the 360 clean has made my skin feel softer and clearer. I guess as you said, it’s the type of skin that you have. I have very oily skin, so it takes off the blemishes. It’s a good start to your “face makeover” even if you’re using Proactive on top of that!

  • Crystal Sloan

Okay. So, i tried the green one. and the first time it felt great. then the second time it burned my face. it felt like a sunburn. so i returned it thinking that maybe it was too strong and i could try the white and blue one for sensitive skin. so, i waited a couple months and got the sensitive skin, first time i used it, felt great. i thought think god. my skin felt amazing. then the 2nd time it burned my skin. sunburn kinda feel all over again. never would i ever recommend this product. the scruber is great maybe keep the scrubber and get a different soap cuz this can’t happen. it hurts and burns. doesn’t itch just alot of burning.

  • crystal mongoon

i LOVED this prosuct! but i used the orange one because i think the little beads would help more! and it really smells good! i would reccomend this for medium sensitive skin and kids or adults with acne or maybe just a few pimples or zits, the orange one is amaizing!

  • Madison Cranton

well, this didnt work:( i have normal skin but this has caused me to break out like never before. i dont really know why i thought other products were bad because this is the worst so far. my face is now breaking out and i dont know where to go… any help on what i might could use? is acne free good?

  • Dee

Hm, I just bought the sensitive skin one and it doesn’t leave my skin tight and dry. I usually have really dry skin that flakes off during the winter(nightmare…).

I haven’t tried the others, but I like the sensitive skin one.

  • Marguerite

hi. i was just wondering should your face be clear of Acne by 14 months? becuse im still braking out, and i use it once a day because my face gets dry if i do it twice . so when you get this message can you send me a message at my e-mail to tell me what you think
    please and thank you 🙂

  • Marguerite

which one is “sensitive skin” the green one, peach one, white one … oh by the way i have the peach one ..

  • Ann

I have oily skin and I don’t know if I have large pores or not…. Do you think this would work for me if I was 12?

  • Shannon

I had the worst acne right after I used proactiv. It started to clear me up for about a month then my skin became twice as worse as it ever was before. I swear I had over 50 pimples before proactiv and ended up with even more after. I saw the ad for the go 360 clean in a magazine a few weeks ago and decided I had nothing to lose. I bought the exfoliating an the cream cleanser. It has really cleared up my skin and I have no pimples or even blackheads! I was amazed with how fast this product has worked for me. It does make my skin feel a tad tight after I use it so I will sometimes apply nivea lotion to my face. I wash my face twice a day. Other than that I am super happy that my horrific teen acne has vanished 😀

    • Tehmeena

i dont think lotion should b applied to ur face. creams r better,

  • Jane

I’ve been using Loreal go 360 Clean – for sensitive skin. After about a week, my face is a huge mess! Really bad rash, bright red, spreading to my ears and scalp. I look a hot mess.

  • Shelly

I have the orange one of these, and I have oily skin, it makes my skin so incredibly soft and it makes me feel so refreshed and beautiful after I use it. I have recommended it to my friends and they love it too. I think it’s a great, cheap, product. I fell in love with the scrubber too. It’s so gentle but it feels like it’s renewing mt skin each time I use it. I also got a lot of break outs on my forehead, those have decreased since the use of this product. I love this product. I couldn’t be happier that the curiosity got the best of me with this product.

  • Tehmeena

I just got this yesterday. and when i used it (first time with these stuff) my skin felt wierd. so i just put the aquasenstion cream on it. felt better. but i tried to smile but my face felt like ….. mud. exactly like u said. I’m thinikng my skin is normal combination. one question. i just put on bleach ( again first time and my skin feels tight and itchy. schould i use the cleanser 2morrow or no? btw the cleanser here in qc is 11.99$ not bad all things considered, but alas if I payed that much 4 nothing. by moms going 2 have a fit.

  • AdimeInaWell

I bought this maybe a week and a half ago, and when I first used it, it was great! But my skin always felt like I had one those mask on where when you move your lips, etc, it feels tight, and I got a really try patch on my chin and around the nose area. My mom say she can see the improvement in my skin, and that I should keep using it. So she suggested, like the bottle says, to use it less frequently, so IM going to use it once a day instead of twice. I havent been using a moistirizer, Ive never really needed, so I was wondering if you could suggest a few good moisterizers.

  • April

I bought the orange one a few days ago because it turned out I was allergic to my other facewash. My skin is so dry and flaky it does help with making pores smaller(I break out around my chin area) but my skin is sore, dry, and like I said flaky.

  • Bronia Kellos

where can i buy these products in South Africa or Botswana, are they available there

  • Lauren S

About 1/2 way through the Orange bottle with normal use, this product gave me a horrible rash and huge breakout. Throw. It. Away!!!!!! It’s been 2 days and the rash isn’t any better.
