Pixi Endless Silky Eye Pen Review & Swatches

This was provided to me by a brand for review but all opinions expressed are my own

Pixi Endless Silky Eye Pens

Pixi Endless Silky Eye Pen may just have put a stop to the search for my HG (holy grail) eyeliner. Don’t get wrong, I’ve run across eyeliners I absolutely love but part of the fun of being a beauty junkie is searching out the very NEXT best thing. But with Endless Silky Eye Pencils in my arsenal I think maybe that search is over.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again THESE are the best eyeliner every and you won’t need another one in your stash once you tried ’em!

There’s a nifty coupon after the jump!

Pixi Endless Silky Eye Pen

I’ve always been attracted to color eye pencils but I’m kinda disappointed they don’t work out on my waterline. Endless Silky Eye Pens not only work fabulously on my waterline but also my lash line!

These are dreamy and creamy and incredibly easy to smudge. They must be eyeliner choice of the makeup Gods!

Available in ten shades for $15 each don’t hesitate to just BUY them all. Pixi should consider doing some sort of master collection with all the shades, I’d be on board to purchase that.

I’ve been known to rave Urban Decay’s formula but Pixi tops it. The formula is so incredibly creamy it just glides onto lids like a liquid and smudges out flawlessly. They take a second to set but have a budge proof formula that lasts all day on my drier eyes. And the joy is in the waterline peeps because these stick around for a solid few hours on waterlines! Plus the colors (ones without shimmer) show up beautifully on my waterline. I’ve always had issues with colored eyeliners not working on my waterline but not the case with these. Just as an example their black pencil is as richly pigmented as Perversion!

  • Vi

This review couldn’t have come at a better time, since I’ve been looking for a good waterline eyeliner! Thanks so much, Muse!! 😀

  • Michelle

These actually stay on the waterline?! I will take a case of each please 🙂

Love the Black Noir and Back Tulip, not to mention the Sage Gold, Cafe Gold, Oyster Gold, and CopperGlow. Oh what the heck, I’ll take them all.

    • the Muse

black stays on me for five hours before fading a bit ;-D colored shades it varies from three to four hours ;-D they are SO creamy! you’re going to love ’em! Copperglow is a MUST! It’s such a unique shade!

  • Caitlin

Gorgeous. I want them all except the blues (cause I never wear them), but I especially love Copperglow.

  • Denise

I just bought Black Cocoa yesterday, and it’s *love*. <3 The Black Blue looks awesome too, because it's different that any other eyeliner shade I have. CopperGlow looks amazing ~ that will definitely be a must-have for me. Oh who am I kidding, they all look like must-haves! I just may have to make it a ritual to buy a new shade every time I make a trip to Target! Thank you for the review and gorgeous swatches! You rock, Muse!

    • the Muse

YAY denise so happy to hear it ;-D look through the comments someone posted a great coupon if you are purchasing at target!

  • tiffany

My teal is dried out 🙁 I have even capped it very tightly 🙁 very sad! such a stunning color too, so I will be replacing it!

  • Olivia

These are great shades- I have 3 of these liners and they’re great.

  • Simone

Thank you so much for posting this! These do not get NEARLY enough attention from the beauty world!

They are my HG liners as well! *still need to pick up Copper Glow!!

  • Laura H

I really want oyster gold, I think it would look great on the waterline !

  • Flavia Signori

So pigmented *0* I love them all <3 And… OMG! I didn't know that PIXI ships worldwide O_O Time to have fun!

    =*****

  • auroragyps

I have Cafe Gold liner & I really like it. It’s such a pretty paler shade of shimmery brown. I’d definitely get more colors in the future.

PS: Gotta thank you Muse, because I won the big Pixi giveaway they had around the Holidays and I think I found out about from your sire. So thanks so much for the post & your awesome blog. I got so many amazing things from Pixi in the giveaway and I think I love just about every item I got. May favs are the liner I mentioned, Tinted Brilliance Balm in Magnific Mauve (the cap is loose, but I put some clear nail polish on the pencil to make the fit more snug), Succulent Lip Twin in Opal Orchid, Flawless & Poreless Primer, Shade Quartette in Shades of Taupe (goes so well with Cafe Gold), and Beauty Blush in Rosy Rouge (which is my totally favorite Pixi thing of all… amazing quality & the color is perfect for my pale skin). Thanks again and keep up the great work. 😀

    • the Muse

oh wow auro that’s awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!! sounds like a great bit of products you got there ;-D amazings! so happy to hear it!

  • Melody

Oh wow! CopperGlow.. I have nothing like it! They’re all so wicked gorgeous!

    • Melody

*cry of frustration*!! Like Susan said below my Target is consistently out of the colors I want most (especially CopperGlow)
Say did you try the Kat Von D Starry Eyes autograph pencil set? There’s a shade, Napolitano, that looks similar to Cafe Glow but maybe a bit darker.. it’s mini so I think I’ll get Cafe Glow anyway! 😉 Also, do you recommend True Teal for grey/blue eyes?

  • Susan

Thanks for posting the 20% off code and the swatches! Been wanting these for a while and they are never in stock at my Target. Especially like Copperglow and cafe gold! 🙂

  • Gracie

Thanks for the review! How do these compare to the Bobbi Brown longwear gel eyeliner pencils?

  • Rory

Ooh these look fantastic! Do you know how similar Sage Gold is to UD Mildew (my fave UD liner)?

  • Veronica

I am all over Oyster Gold. I doubt these will stay on my waterline, but I’m always willing to give a pencil liner another try. Besides, this shade is just too pretty to pass up. 😀

  • Somia

These are the best -I have them in black, black blue, plum and Black Tulip (my personal favorite) I have a question – have you found a good sharpener for them? They are so creamy (which is what makes them amazing) but my generic sharpener is eating them up. Just curious if you can recommend one.

  • Sienna

I have three of these (plus a mini black) already, and now I want at least four more. So many pretty colors! Also, for those of you who prefer to shop in-store, I printed coupons from Target.com last week for $5 off a $15 purchase of Pixi or NP Set cosmetics. I think it’s still available, and you can print two.

  • christymg

Save my just-recieved state tax refund, or blow it on eyeliner?

I mean, I have no plain black liner. No teal. Oyster glow and sage gold are lovely.

So…I need them, right? And when you need something, it’s a responsibility! 😉

  • Phyrra

I have True Teal and Copper Glow, but holy wow, I need Black Noir, Black Blue, Black Tulip and Oyster Gold.

  • jh

do you think these will work as well on me if I have super oily lids? 🙁

    • the Muse

jh they are ultra creamy so they might be a bit much for oily lids.

  • mj

I have the one of these that was released with the Fairy collection, and it was instant love! It looks the same as the green/gold one you swatched. It was expensive (for me, anyway, I am a hard core DS only gal) but it is GORGEOUS!

  • Liz Cat

Oh these are beautiful! That oyster pearl look stunning for brighting an inner corner or even the waterline. Muse thank you for the fabulous review, and bringing Pixi to my attention!

  • Wendy

OMG I NEED EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THESE! Thank god I get paid this week LOL

  • Cat G

These are at Target? I must go check them out! Are they permanent? I hope they’re at the one by my house!!

      • Cat G

Went to Target to pick up four of these today and they were out of Sage Gold AND CopperGlow -the two I was most excited to pick up! They told me to check back in about a week so hopefully they’re there next time I go!

  • LINDARRAGNAR

Now these look like eyeliners!! Thanks for heads up about colorued eye liners which will actually apply to the water line!!!!! Its so frustrating that most eyeliners don’t actually want to stick to the waterline!!

  • Darmowa Bramka

The pencils look so and girlish with those sweet flowers patterns. I definitely want one!

  • kayla

Muse, Would you say the Sage Gold shade is similar to the straight on till morning eyeliner released last year?? That was my holy grail green and Its becoming limited online 🙁

  • Dana

Are these similar to MAC Pearlglides? I’ve been thinking about picking up some Pearlglides but if these are similar, I might check these out instead…

  • Taryn

Must have the plum! I love a good plum eyeliner. So often it is too purple for me but that one looks just right. This reminds me…
Question- I have a plum UD eyeliner that is only a year old but has gotten really hard. I tried resharpening but that didn’t seem to help. Any suggestions?

  • MeggieBeth

What amazing color payoff, guess I’ll be heading to Target to hand over my next paycheck.

  • melissa

Golly gosh gee you hit me where i’m weak. I love eyeliners in general. MUFE is my favoriterof the moment but I think I might just grab one or 5 of these next Target spree. TYVM for the swatches and review.

  • Michaela

I’m pretty happy with my Holika Holika Jewel-light eyeliners right now, but CopperGlow looks like an absolute stunner…

  • Majick

Well I hope everyone saves a copper glow pencil for ME. LOL THat looks a lot like a Sue Devitt color I used to wear. It was called Gold Reef and it made my amber/hazel eyes look green. I def have my eye on this one.

Hard to believe they are better than UD… we’ll see. 😀

  • Pineapple Princess

I really love all the colors on the bottom row of your swatches! Gorgeous!

  • noemii

I agree that these are better than Urban Decay! It’s about time someone admits it.. I use Deep Plum Almost everyday in place of basic brown or black. Pixi eyeliners are terribly underrated. i Need copper glow now!!

  • Anne

ugh at first i was like “i only need the blue” but then i grabbed the champagne and the mossy green and the copper and the dark blue and heck they’re all so pretty!

  • Fröken Frodig

I probably don’t need any of them…but want them all! Sets nicely on the waterline you say, good for tightlining maybe?

  • Liz

Is the black comparable to UD Perversion in intensity? Perversion is the darkest eyeliner I have used on my waterline, & I wanna stick with that deep pigmentation. BUT hopefully with a cheaper alternative. =p

  • Samantha

Just curious, I had major difficulty sharpening mine, how do you sharpen these without wasting product?

    • the Muse

I’m all about the UD grinder, that thing is total HG for getting pencils to perfect points!

  • Jen

OMG I just bought one of these off your review – the Teal b/c I was wanting something different and colorful for spring. I’m in love. Let me just say I have oily lids and use primer and so called long lasting gel eyeliners (MAC; BB) and they have nothing on Pixi. I have a crazy teaching schedule and wore this from about 6 am – 10 pm and at 10 pm it looked perfect!

    Thanks for the rec!

  • Jae

Bad news, these are no longer available in Target stores or Target.com

  • Monica

Love your blog, I’ve been reading it for a long time and now I’m debating which one I should purchase. Would you say the pixi eyeliner is better or mally’s starlight eyeliner is better?

  • Mel

Have you seen this new one I just snagged at Target called Emerald Gold?! To DIE for go check it out !!!

  • Carla N.

    I. Will. Have. Black. Cocoa.
    I MUST!
I’d been using gel eyeliner, but have grown disenchanted. I think I’m too fundamentally lazy to fool with a brush. :/
Pencils seemed to lack pigmentation, but it looks like these don’t!

  • Carla N.

I got BlackCocoa in the mail moments ago, and I’m impressed.
It’s a deep, deep opaque dark brown, insanely pigmented and sublimely smooth.
If it stays on my super-oily lids, I may be erecting a shrine. lol

      • Carla N.

It *does* hold up well on my oil-slick lids, even without primer.
I haven’t even tried it “for real,” with primer, powder, eyeshadow, and mascara, so I kind of wonder if I should start looking for shrine components. 🙂
BTW, another recent eyeliner “discovery” of mine is Physicians Formula Eye Booster, in Deep Brown.
The latter is a pen-style liquid liner, good for when I want a slightly more intense look.
        Again, no need for primer!

        • Isabella Muse

Great glad to hear it ;-D!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don’t think I tried the eye booster liner but I love their mascara with the fiber so crazy good ;-D Thanks for the recs! ;-D
