Ofra Cosmetics Now Sold at Ulta

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Ofra Cosmetics is now sold exclusively online at Ulta.com! I thought this would be finally a good excuse for me to try out their Wanderlush Moisturizer but sadly, Ulta only has a few of their items available and not a ton of their skincare. Hopefully they redeem that soon and start carrying more of the line.

Ulta continues to grow in 2017 as it strives to become even better than Sephora in many ways adding brands like MAC, NARS, and more to their lineup. And what have we gotten from Sephora this year? Oh yes, a new website that doesn’t work.

Sephora, watch out, Ulta is creeping up!

Get your Ofra fix now at Ulta.com.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. If you’re that person feel free to reach out and leave a comment or follow me on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Bloglovin‘.

Hi Muse, I saw this brand on the Ulta website but have never heard of it. Then I saw the prices: the particular palette you have a picture of in this post goes for $110.! I had to look twice at the price. $110?!? WTF? That’s why I’m asking about the brand. Where does it come from that it warrants such high prices?

    • Isabella Muse

LOL I know! I was like wow 110! It’s quite a popular brand across youTube! It is, though, an indie brand so I question those price tags!

Hey Muse! Do you know anything about Ofra, like where they manufacture? From the price point, I’m guessing it’s not PRC. Models Own has some palettes that look pretty, but I believe they are made in PRC so forget it.

Yes, Ulta keeps adding cool stuff but Sephora wins hands down for one reason despite the crappy website: free shipping, no minimum!

    • Isabella Muse

I don’t. It’s always so much chat about their highlighters that I never really got excited about the brand until a few months ago when they introduced their Wanderlush moisturizer, that’s when I took a little interest in the brand. I imagine they are made in china but don’t quote me on that! 😀 AGREED on the shipping! If they changed that, I’d be a very happy Ulta user!

I’m glad Ulta is adding new brands and having a better selection. I’ve always shopped at ulta over sephora; mainly because there’s an ulta (and no sephora) in my area but also because their reward system is really nice. A lot of the new brands that ulta is adding are ones that I have been dying to try but I don’t want to order from so many different websites. This is great news to me. 🙂

The Sephora website has deteriorated. I ordered something from th clearance and the item was not available. Moreover they still can’t take down that item from the site. It takes so long to view anything..

    • Isabella Muse

it’s a mess! At first it didn’t appear to change much but after using it for the last several weeks it’s become obvious nothing works. I hate I have to search brands because the drop down menu for brands doesn’t work! WTH?

I agree about their website. And the sad thing is, they keep telling people on their FB page to clear their cache/cookies. They never acknowledge the fact that the problem is on their end, not ours. I just got an email the other day from another website that changed and they were apologizing for the slow responses. I felt like showing that to Sephora and tell them.. hear, this is how its done. I can’t get any of the top links to work except for the first one. It’s really sad. Anyway, I’m shopping more and more at Ulta. Their perks are so much better! And I also heard that they are looking into doing free shipping. They are really stepping up their game!!

OFRA is specifically known for their Long Lasting Lipsticks but their highlighters are also getting popular. The website says they’re in S. Florida.

    • Isabella Muse

thanks Jodi! Mostly people want to know where the products are made not so much where they are located 🙂

Also using Ulta’s site is an exercise in patience! the only thing that I wanted from the 21 days of beauty sale was ABH eyebrow pencils. I was up in the middle of the night and tried to place my order and the items kept being removed from my cart. then the tax wouldn’t apply and my order couldn’t be placed. I tried to order on my laptop and phone, without success. I went to the store on saturday, granted it was about 230pm but all they had was blond, and my color is dark brown. it was sold out online so i go to the other ulta and they didn’t have it either, now i’m salty af! fine-it wasn’t meant to be so i’m shopping and happen to pass by the front and they had a couple that they found somewhere! success!! I think Ulta’s rewards system is better than Sephora but both sites could use a ton of work.

    • Isabella Muse

I’ve kind of learned to like but not love Ulta’s site! It’s still heck a better than Sephora at the moment! Amen! Both sites need a hell of a lot of work!

Yah, but the worst beauty site has to be Barney’s. Used to travel to one to avoid the website, but now the suburban store shut down……I avoid Barney’s altogether. Think the horrendous website is partly responsible for my non Sephora 2017. 4K points….for what? Plus, the bigger Sephora nearby looks more like Ninth Ward Katrina than a HE m/u emporium. Half of every display is stolen! Little S is far better, but Sephora’s lighting designers (hah!)should be drawn and quartered. I keep getting blinding flashes in my eyes from the shiny packaging, and the lighting distorts the color of everything. At least local Ulta is clean, airy, and they replace shoplifted stuff. For an LMVH brand, they really should project a better image AND HAVE A TAD OF WEBSITE DESIGN KNOWLEDGE.

    • Isabella Muse

YES that def answers where the line is produced thanks Jodi!

The issue with when relying on online shopping is the computer programs and systems that the retailer uses and quite often the infrastructure hasn’t been updated for awhile. When there are major sales, it crashes or behaves in a weird fashion. My son, who is a Senior Systems Analyst, regularly complains about the computer systems on his favourite websites….. It’s called the retailer spending money…. which they often don’t want to do.

I would love Ulta to set up here in Australia. Fingers crossed.
