Revlon Dream in Nude Super Lustrous Lipgloss is a new shade that launched with the Revlon Color Charge Spring 2018 Collection that’s launching in drugstores now. Super Lustrous Lipgloss launched back in 2013 and if anything at all you’d think they’d be disappearing from Revlon’s permanent collection at this point to make room for something new. But nope, here’s Revlon creating brand new shades in the line. I’m not sure if Dream in Nude is limited edition as there is no word on the packaging stating as such. The entire Color Charge Collection has actually been trademarked which leads me to believe it’ll be added to the permanent Revlon Collection but I don’t have official, confirmed information about this.

None the less, I decided to pick up Dream in Nude as I thought it would make a rather great companion piece to the Revlon Blank Canvas Super Lustrous Lipstick I picked up that also launched with this collection and I was right. The two shades pair up and play nicely together but Dream in Nude is actually pigmented enough to work perfectly on its own as well.

I find the release of nudes in this collection interesting since it is a very colorful collection with many bright shades such as blue and fuchsia. It’s actually easy to overlook the collection if you’re not one that enjoys color as I almost passed it up before deciding to take a second look. I’m glad I did because I discovered some great keepers in the launch.

Revlon Dream in Nude Super Lustrous Lipgloss is a pale nude that almost reflects pink on my lips and should make me look like a zombie but ended up looking quite lovely. It’s a full color gloss so it applies quite opaque with two to three layers and has a cream finish with a hint of glossiness but no shimmer or glitter.

The formula is hydrating without being sticky or tacky with an easy, smooth glide on my drier lips. This color does have issues with falling into my natural lip lines but going over my lips a few times with the sponge-tipped applicator helps smooth things over for an even finish. I didn’t notice any flavor or fragrance and the formula wears for a solid three hours on my lips without migrating or feather.

I wouldn’t say the formula is groundbreaking here but I really loved the color and felt like it was a really great nude for me. It’s a touch cooler than I typically go for in nudes but it worked for none the less.

Revlon Dream in Nude Super Lustrous Lipgloss is launching now in the Revlon Color Charge Collection at drugstores and at target.com.

    Hey Muse,

That lipgloss is such a great nude for your skin tone.

This is random but I thought you’d be interested: I placed an ULTA order and a freebie mini lipstick was supposed to be included but it was apparently out of stock when my order shipped. (Free mini NARS orgasm lipstick w $45 NARS purchase)

ULTA Customer Service contacted me first and gave me a free $15 gift card without me saying anything!

And my order arrived in TWO days. It used to take close to 10 days sometimes!

Isn’t that crazy?? I’ve heard people complain about ULTA CS before and slow shipping times. I think their Customer Service is getting a makeover haha

    Hope you’re doing well

thanks mj! Omg that’s awesome! I’m happy to hear it!!!!!!!!! This is GREAT news ;-D I’m happy to see them doing a better job with CS! I’m great 🙂 and you?

It IS a good nude for you. . You look so soft, natural, and youthful. Don’t take that creepily.

Hey Muse this is random but today @ Target I found new Sonia Kashuk. Apparently the old stuff was discontinued and redesigned and is now slowly hitting the shelves. So far only tools and brushes but those brushes look beautiful.
And I like that nude on you. Reminds me of a NYX butter gloss color that sometimes settles into my lip lines so I don’t wear it though I do like the texture.

Hi Claudia! from my understanding they’ll be carrying the tools and brushes but not the make anymore. Did you see newly designed/repackaged makeup too!?!? :-O I hope so! that would be great! Thank you! A little clear gloss helps with glosses like these 😀

You heard about the latest news, the CEO stepping down no? Another one bites the dust….it’s not a good sign. Revlon don’t even make a single yellow tone foundation shade for me, i gave up on them when i started buying MAC etc and started to become more informed about makeup. They spend too much on marketing without improving their products. They are also slowing turning Elizabeth Arden into Revlon 2.0- releasing new products that i recognise from Revlon before. They dropped Halle Berry for all these random celebs. Shame cause Revlon IS Halle Berry. That Gal Gadot probably doesn’t even use Revlon products- just there to get her paycheck. I know because she uses A+ list makeup artists who use high end products and all sudden she’s using Revlon?!

Oooo this is a good nude! Not a wash you out corpse kinda nude. Although I will admit, I thought the name was Color Change. I thought we were getting some hypercolor inspired lip glosses!
