Pond’s Cleansing Oil is a Japan exclusive (and available in a few other select Asian countries) and supposedly contains three plant oils that make up the base for a hydrating cleansing oil experience.
I always find it interesting that a basic product like Cleansing Oil is made so readily available from brands like Ponds and even Maybelline yet the US market never actually sees these products.
Let’s take a look!
Miracle indeed! I’m loving the Maybelline Clean Express Miracle Oil Cleansing Oil! This one you’ve got to try. I think cleansing oils are so misconceived as people assume they’ll make skin greasy or oily. Prior to trying a cleansing oil several years ago I had the same notion but please don’t be put off by such silliness. Cleansing Oils are wonderful and helpful aids to remove your makeup quickly and easily.
The Maybelline Clean Express Collection launched here in the US several months ago and it includes an eye makeup remover, cleansing wipes, and even a facial makeup remover but unfortunately the Maybelline Clean Express Miracle Oil Cleansing Oil is exclusive to Asia. Oh woe is me! Thankfully it is easy enough to locate across a wide variety of online shops but I’m hopeful for Spring 2014 that Maybelline might consider launching it here in the US as sadly our market is lacking a budget variety of cleansing oils!

Dior Instant Gentle Cleansing Oil hit the skincare scene earlier this month at Sephora and gets a bigger push for the Fall 2013 season when it hits counters and shelves more nationally.
This is the first time Dior has done a cleansing oil so that along makes it exciting. Secondly it’s made with pure lily extract which gives it a delightful feminine fragrance.
Let’s take a look shall we?
Supreme indeed! Sephora Supreme Cleansing Oil ($14) is a vast improvement on the original Sephora Cleansing Oil!
I think you NEED it.

I ran out of my Shu Cleansing Oil so I decided to start trying a few other cleansing oils one of which is the Skin Food Lemon Brightening Cleaning Oil.
Just when I thought I tried every single Cleansing Oil Skin Food has ever made a new one pops across my path. The good news is this was considerably cheaper than replenishing my Shu Cleansing Oil so it was worth the try.
Supposedly it brightens skin as it cleanses but I do not see the point of a cleansing oil that washes away as a brightening agent…however, I’m game to try anything!
