I’m sure you’ve heard about Fancl Mild Cleansing Oil by now. Although I love dabbling with many a cleansing oil I must say I always come back to Fancl. It’s simple and in that simplicity I find perfection.

Shu Uemura Whitefficient UV Under Base Brightening Mousse was recently released in Japan. We haven’t seen this one here in the US but fans of Shu’s original UV Mousse will be quite familiar with this one.
The original Shu Uemura Whitefficient UV Under Base Mousse offered SPF 30 and came in a soft, mousse formula that absorbed easily. I don’t think they actually carry it anymore in the US but don’t quote me, it’s been a while since I explored Shu’s master line.
Shu Uemura Whitefficient UV Under Base Brightening Mousse simply adds the benefits of whitening to the mix. So if you’re looking to brighten, whiten, or ease dullness on your face it might be one you’d select over the original UV base.

BSC makes a great range of crystal gel masks that I absolutely adore. These are always Buy 1, Get 1 on Sasa too so you can get your savings on when repurchasing.
However….
They kinda suck.

I recently purchased a box of Softymo Makeup Remover Sheets since I’m such a huge fan of Softymo’s Airy Whip. I dunno why everything Softymo releases gets narrowed down to the awesomeness of Airy Whip but that it does.
I should know better than to indulge in these makeup sheets as they are typical blah for removing waterproof mascara.
Perhaps these are different?

The Jill Stuart Patisserie Mix Blush Compact are available in two limited edition shades for Fall 2012. Jill Stuart Mix Blush isn’t really a new product but it gets re-packaged for the Patisserie Collection in a new white eyelet compact.
I love what Jill Stuart did with this collection in terms of packaging. It’s a refreshing change from her typical mirror compacts.

Dr. Jart Black Label Detox Pore Penetrator might seem familiar to you. That’s because I reviewed Dr. Jart All Out Black Head Remover a year or two ago.
Kinda the same concept here.
I’m willing to try ANYTHING to get the stubborn blackheads to stop vacationing on the tip of my nose. Nothing works. Nose strips, gels, treatments…short of burning them off or removing my nose, I think they are here to stay.
Let’s see if the Dr. Jart Black Label Detox Pore Penetrator did the trick!

Jill Stuart’s Patisserie Collection is now available from E-bay seller AlphabeautyUK.
I’m not affiliated with this seller, they do not know I’m doing this post. I’ve purchased from them in the past numerous times and enjoy their excellent customer service and fairly reasonable prices so I thought for those wanting to indulge in this collection that this is a very good seller to go with.
They have the new shades of Patisserie Mix Blush as well as the Custard Lip Pots and Glitter Eyes Liquid Eyeshadow.
I’ve checked in at the Soho store and they do not have this collection in stock sadly and according to sale associates at the store they won’t be getting it. However, they do have a good deal of products from the general catalog and they do ship within the US.
Enjoy!
The Jill Stuart Patisserie Collection is limited edition collection released for Fall 2012. It’s inspired by a French pastry shop and the packaging, shade names, and scent of the products all bring to mind decadent pastries and desserts.
The Jill Stuart Custard Lip Pots are pretty much spot on for that inspiration as they look like little cups of custard. These were released in five shades and both the colors and product themselves are available for a limited time with this collection.

Jill Stuart Patisserie Custard Lip Pots are darling little tinted lip balms that quite remind me of Holika Holika Aqua Petit Jelly Blusher in packaging style although Jill Stuart has always favored these tiny pots for many of their eye and lip products in the past.

Sugar Glitter Eyes are a selection of five limited edition cream eyeshadows from the Jill Stuart Patisserie Collection.
After swatching these I find they quite remind me of Jill Stuart Jelly Eye Color with a thinner consistency and a new package, even the shades are kinda dupes of past shades of Jelly Eye Color. They also remind me of Visee Shower Eyes so the concept of a sparkly liquid/cream shadow with a sponge applicator isn’t a terribly new idea.
Even though they aren’t terribly different from products I already own I still LOVE this style of Japanese Eyeshadow. It’s actually the type of formula that got me hooked on cream eyeshadows.
