Eyeshadow
At the beginning of my makeup life and most of my older one I absolutely hated cream eyeshadows for some reason. I just couldn’t stand them. Perhaps it was my lack of patience during application of such a medium or the fact they tended to crease like crazy (circa BUDPP, “Before Urban Decay Primer Potion) but I avoided them like the plague.
I became enamored with them when I discovered the joy of Visee Quad Shining Eyes and ever after that faithful day creams have been a staple of my eyeshadow life.
For Summer 2011, Guerlain introduced three shades of Terra Inca Ombre Fusion Cream Eyeshadow in warm, gorgeous hues to compliment your tan.
Let’s take a peek!

I didn’t have the best experience in the world with the Hello Kitty Beauty Palette I tried recently but I really had to have to Hello Kitty Memoirs Of A Kitty Palette…somethings just beg to be purchased and this was one of those things!

Estee Lauder introduced two dual sided Shadestick Duos with the Bronze Goddess Collection this year and damn, they sold out fast. I can’t find them online however I’ve seen them at two Estee Lauder counters so if you’re wanting ‘em after this review best get ‘em while the getting is good.
The sticks are great as a base, a liner, or an all over shadow. I was lucky enough to get the Gold Bronze color selection to try out because it’s thee perfect duo for warm, bronze-y eyes for Summer and yes, Summer seems to be nearing New York now. Can’t believe I’m going to say it but Yay! for humidity!

Mmm at first glance the new Lorac TANtalEyes Palette had me thinking, “hello, Lorac Little Black Palette…” it was just that similar to to Lorac’s Summer 2010 palette release.
Turns out the TANtalEyes Palette offers some new, exciting options compared to the Little Black Book that might tempt those of you who love a dramatically bronzed eye look for Summer.

I wasn’t thinking Spring when I originally saw the Chanel Quardra Eyeshadow Palette in Lilium for Summer 2011. All that green had me thinking Fall but than the combination of browns and greens had me at rebirth, renewal, Spring….

I danced around the house and sung I feel pretty in Julie Andrew’s haughty British accent this morning. It’s that damn L’Occitane en Provence Pivoine Flora Petals Eye Quartet…the shades just make me feel oh so pretty, witty, and gay! I was actually all of these things before the palette but the palette helped emphasize my sheer awesomeness….I’m kiddin’, I’m kiddin’ but seriously the palette is one of those soft, feminine little numbers that makes you feel pretty just staring at it.
The new Pivoine Flora Collection is an ode to the graceful beauty of the peony flower that sways gently in the breeze like a dainty little ballerina!
Let’s check out the palette!

Clio is a brand of cosmetics in Korea. The brand has some really great makeup products and veers away from the cutesy aspect of makeup that we sometimes see from other Asian brands.
Ok! Eyeshadow will probably remind you of Victora’s Secret Beauty Rush Luminous Shadow from days of old.

Let it be known I was every so relieved after viewing the QVC Presentation Video that I wasn’t crazy about the overall finish I got with the Smashbox FAQ’s 7 Piece Color Collection.
I recently hauled this on Auto Delivery from QVC because it was a stupendous deal. After receiving it I was in awe over the promo model’s overall look and was every so eager to try it out.
FAIL!
I totally couldn’t master the look but after seeing the video on QVC I realized the two looks are completely and utterly different and the one on QVC looks more like what I came out with than what was included in the how to guide in the set.
Phew! It’s always nice to know I’m NOT going crazy because believe me I feel on the brink of it daily.
Let’s take a look at this set and more on my rant about the model later!

MAC stacks are back! MAC Crushed Metallic Pigment Stacks were originally released with the Spring Colour Forecast.
Dare I say I haven’t made proper use out of the ones I already own? But for some reason I generally love these even though I’m not giving the ones in my stash enough love.
Let’s take a look at the two new variations released with the MAC Surf Baby Collection!
