Summer Collections 2012
Summer is kinda sorta over but the Sephora + Pantone Universe Dazzling Lip Gloss Set heads into Fall 2012.
Released a few months ago the Sephora + Pantone Universe Collection was possibly one of the most incredible collections I’ve seen from Sephora in recent years.
Perhaps their new Dazzling Lip Gloss Set deserves a special spot in my stash.
I was sitting with my friend last night and he turned to me and said, “Summer feels over…” WHAT?! Dude…what do you mean?
I guess in a way he’s right. Particularly since the whisper of Holiday Collections is already on the horizon. Le sigh.
But never fear, rejoice in Summer joy with a little Avon Hawaiian Shores Eau de Toilette Spray. It’s so not going to make you feel like Hawaii, for that you need to grab your bikini and hop a plane but it does feel like a warm hug.
My sister happens to be the queen of blush sticks. If you want an autograph, let me know, I charge $5 bucks for ‘em and include a digital picture of her and her stash.
No seriously, girl, has every single blush stick known to womankind. It’s fairly comical because by some sort of random inheritance she’s kinda sorta into makeup because of me BUT she isn’t as diseased about it. She’s kinda…a hobbyist for lack of a better word. But when it comes to blush sticks, well, she’s a connoisseur.
So, of course, when I whipped out the new Jordana Color Tint Blush Stick she immediately came at me like Scott McCall during a hairy situation. There was possibly a shuffle, she may or may not have given me a rug burn in the process of wrestling me to the floor to get her hands on these, and I can’t confirm but a black eye or two might have resulted.
I guess she wants them.
I’m wearing L’Oreal Infallible Eyeshadow in Gleaming Bronze today. It was part of the L’Oreal Summer 2012 Collection and could or couldn’t be LE?
Hard to say really as these special displays really never say if a shade or product is limited edition. How irritating right?
As you know from my numerous rants I do have a little bit of a love/hate relationship with these eyeshadows but the formula is such a hit or miss that I feel this absolute need to collect them all.
Let’s see if you need Gleaming Bronze.
As you know Neutrogena recently released a Shine Control Collection that includes foundation, powder, and primer.
I recently got my hands on the Neutrogena Shine Control Primer and was surprised that the formula wasn’t a typical silicone formula.

Avon vamps up their Glimmersticks with a new Chrome finish.
Any fans? I hated the ones I recently hauled with their Summer 2012 Collection. Eep! Terribly dry, lots of tugging involved, just wasn’t working for me.
Perhaps I’ll like the Avon Glimmersticks Chrome?
The semi-annual is over sad sigh….
But that’s good news because it means Bath & Body Works will be gearing up for Fall 2012 and Halloween soon. I, for one, can’t wait.
But until that time we can still enjoy summer with the new Bath & Body Works Summer Splash Anti-Bacterial Hand Soap Collection. A collection of antibacterial hand soaps inspired by cool drinks by the pools, ya know, those brilliant ones with little baby umbrellas!
I need all of these in my life!
I purchased two lippies from the MAC Heavenly Creatures launch in Venus and PleasureSeeker but seriously have to get to a counter to check out the rest as I feel like I might have missed some uber awesome shade.
Anything I NEED from this launch?
Which shades did you grab?
I was a little disappointed with these…

Tarte Maracuja Miracle Foundation will be launching exclusively in the new Tarte QVC Today’s Special Value on July 13th. From my understanding it’ll be available later this year from Tarte directly but as of now the worldwide launch and only place you can get it is with this set.
Now it’s a good deal getting it with the set because I believe it will retail for around $35-$40 just for the foundation alone and the set is $49.96 and includes six products total. Nice eh?
I know many of you were eager to hear about Tarte Maracuja Miracle Foundation so I thought I’d review it prior to the actual set it’s included with.
Here’s a look!
To my knowledge MAC released their 286 Duo Fibre Blending Brush in a Holiday 2011 Brush Bag set. Does anyone know if it was released prior to that?
I remember it came in one of the bag sets and I fell instantly in love with it.
I was happy to be able to get a full size of the brush when it was repromoted this month with the Heavenly Creature Collection.
You NEED it.
