Becca Pearl Glow Shimmering Eyeshadow Palette and Becca Pearl Glow Luster Glow Powder Highlighter are available for Nordstrom Club Members today! Join free at nordstrom.com! Or everyone else can shop these at beccacosmetics.com (sign up for the newsletter and use code WELCOME20 as it might get you 20% off).

Are these a Holiday 2019 release or a Spring 2019? I’m leaning towards Holiday because if you recall after Becca Holiday Sets launched last year they popped up with the Becca Apres Ski Glow Face Palette and Eyeshadow Palette!

I do know one thing! These are cool! Oh so cool! Everyone rejoice it’s not a warm palette! I dunno if I can pull off all these shades but the Glow Shimmering Eyeshadow Palette really is a stunning selection of colors! This limited edition eyeshadow palette features three brand new finishes of pearlescent, luminous and matte. There are some warmer hues here but most are cooler purples, pinks, and creams. The palette is $58.

Becca Pearl Glow Luster Glow Powder Highlighter ($40) is definitely on my hit list. I don’t really like highlighters but Becca’s highlighters are an entirely different story! This limited edition jellified highlighter is a delicate pink and has pearlescent glowy finish. It also runs cooler which is a refreshing change from all the gold highlighters we’ve been seeing.

All in all, a very beautiful collection from Becca that I do want to see up close and personal!

Becca Pearl Glow Shimmering Eyeshadow Palette & Pearl Glow Luster Glow Powder Highlighter are available now at Nordtrom and on Becca’s website and should be available soon at Sephora and Ulta.

Maybelline Dream Radiant Liquid Foundation For Drier Skin Girls and Guys

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Maybelline dream Radiant Liquid Medium Coverage Hydrating Makeup is a new foundation that’s launching shortly and available for pre-order at amazon.com. It’s been a while since Maybelline launched anything new! Well, drugstore makeup brands in general have been a little sleepy lately. I remember drugstore makeup life being a heck of a lot more interesting with new releases happening quite often. Nowadays we’re lucky if we get seasonal launches.

This new Maybelline Dream Radiant Liquid Foundation is a lightweight formula that contains Hyaluronic acid and collagen to smooth, plump and hydrate skin for up to 12 hours. It provides medium coverage according to Maybelline and has a lightweight texture and feel on skin. In my experience with hydrating foundations they tend to run sheerer so, I do question the medium coverage! We’ll see how that goes!

I’m not writing this one off because Maybelline has been good to me lately with their foundations! I thought I’d hate the Maybelline Dream Urban Cover Full Coverage Foundation but I actually loved it!

I used to hate drugstore foundations but they’ve improved so much over the years that I’m always curious to try the newest ones. I’m dead curious about the new Physicians Formula serum one as well so expect a review soon of that one and this new Maybelline one!

Maybelline Dream Radiant Liquid Foundation launches November 15th and is available for pre-order now at Amazon.

The Inkey List Brighten-i Eye Cream Review & Swatches

I purchased this item and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post.
1 stars out of 5

I picked up the new The Inkey List Brighten-i Eye Cream ($9.99) against my better judgement recently. If you didn’t already know or you’re living under a rock the Inkey List is a new, affordable skincare brand from the UK that recently launched at Sephora. Think of it as the next the Ordinary! I’ve tried most of the line already and I have some staples that I’m really enjoying like the Q10 Serum! But like any skincare brand there are hits and misses in the mix.

Recently, the Inkey List started launching a slew of new items which I’ve quickly snatched up! Sea Kelp Serum, Poly Hydroxide Acid Toner, Tranexamic Acid Night Treatment, Ceramide Night Treatment, and Brighten-i Eye Cream are a few of the new items they have released!

I had a funny feeling I wasn’t going to like The Inkey List Brighten-i Eye Cream because it’s an “illuminating” eye cream and I do so hate anything that sparkles or glows under my eyes. I feel like eye creams that produce such an effect or finish just put a spotlight on my finer lines and puffiness. But it sounded so promising with the long-term brightening benefits that I decided I’d give it a try.

Here’s what I thought!

Do You Use Physical or Chemical Exfoliating Products?

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Do you use physical or chemical exfoliating products? How often do you exfoliate? I’m more of a physical kind of girl myself because I’m a little unsure of myself around acids! As I’ve gotten older I’m starting to explore chemical exfoliating products more and more though. I started using the Inkey List Lactic Acid which is gentle and ideal for drier skin and I like the results so far. I’ve used Pixi’s Glow Tonic in the past but the smell became too much for me (it smells like old lady perfume) and I stopped using it. I’ve also used Resist Advanced Smoothing Treatment 10% AHA and had fantastic results.

I have to admit though I find physical exfoliating a lot easier! When I use a chemical exfoliating product I have to be careful which other products I’m combining it with. If I use a physical one there’s no such issue.

I do think that physical exfoliating products can really dry my skin out though where as physical ones I don’t experience the same reaction. I tend to exfoliate twice a week if I’m using a physical product and that’s even too much. For acids/chemicals I use them every night. I’ve sort of made a promise to myself that this year I’d start going the chemical route. I think my skin will thank me when the long, hard Winter makes an appearance!

How do you exfoliate? Do you use physical or chemical products?

How often do you use them?

What results do you experience using them?

Do share!

Laneige Mint Chocolate Chip and Candy Lip Sleeping Mask for Kissable Holiday Lips

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Mint Chocolate Chip and Candy are two new Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask flavors that launched for Holiday 2019 yesterday but oh my god why are they limited edition? They sound positively yummy! I love Laneige’s original Lip Sleeping Mask and some of the flavored ones they released several months ago are quite lovely as well! I’m glad they are doing some Holiday flavors as well! The lip mask has a soft balmy texture and can be used over to to hydrate your lips. I use it in the day too! I imagine I’m breaking some rule doing so but meh I like to live dangerously. It has such a nice shiny finish plus it nicely hydrate my lips so why not use it in the day right?

The two new flavors are Mint Chocolate Chip and Candy. I’m most curious about candy! The flavored Lip Sleeping Masks that Laneige has done in the past are quite subtly flavored and scented so I wonder if these two new flavors will be more of the same. That’s great for sensitive users but for those of us that are reliving our Bonne Bell youth over here and want something strongly flavored might be disappointed.

None the less, I’m looking forward to trying these.

Laneige Mint Chocolate Chip and Candy Lip Sleeping Mask is available now at Sephora for $20 each but hurry these limited edition flavors are here for the Holidays only!
