Fall 2019 is starting to trickle in and this Yves Saint Laurent Sexy Tomboy Couture Eyeshadow Palette ($60) might just capture an eye or two. Available for a limited time this six shade palette is the center piece of the YSL Beaute Fall 2019 Collection and combines neutral shades with bolder shades to create a sultry eye look!
The palette comes housed in a black case with gold accents and a dotted design and includes a dual-sided brush. All the shades are matte aside from the gold which has a shimmer finish.
I don’t normally migrate towards YSL but this one is quite nice. Seems like an easy to use palette with shades that will be used in everyday, daily looks! I always feel like I never have enough palettes with daily shades you know? This seems like it has ones I’d reach for on constantly1

Maybelline Super Stay Ink Crayon is a new, permanent lipstick crayon that launched in 12 shades with the Maybelline Summer 2019 Collection. I’m a huge fan of lip crayons its a beauty trend that’s still alive and kicking in my makeup world. I love how easily I can travel with these, how super fast I can apply them, and I just generally like the texture of a lip crayon. A few years ago L�Oreal Colour Riche Le Matte Lipcolour Stick and La Lacquer Lip Colour Pencils which quite reminded me of these new Super Stay Ink Crayons. I was a little concerned blind buying my shade online though because I thought it would be a drier long-wearing matte.
Turns out it’s anything but!
I picked up one shade of the new, limited edition L’Oreal Rouge Signature Parisian Sunset Matte Colored Ink shades and it was the biggest mistake of my life. These eight shades are new for Summer 2019 and inspired by the sun in Paris as it sets. These shades are gorgeous and oh so perfect for Summer looks. I regret only buying the one but I’ll do another Ulta.com order soon I’m sure considering the threshold is so low for free shipping (It’s $35 at the moment).
The shade I purchased was Amaze which is a gorgeous burnt orange! It’s such a great Summer shade. I have hopes the other colors are just as vivid and gorgeous.
Wet n Wild Snowmelt Lip Powder ($6.99) is a new powder to cream lip tint available in seven shades with a matte finish. This is probably one of the most interest lip powders I’ve had the pleasure of using but it isn’t without some fault. However, even with its faults I’d still buy more as I had a blast using it. It’s a fun product and with a little work it looks really quite nice on.
Lip Powders have been trying to make a comeback for years now however, this is the first time any true beauty budget brands have taken out the trend. It’s nice to see a more affordable range of lip powder available.
