I do alot of Beauty Abroad here on Musings. Japanese Brands, Korean, British…you name it and I try to cover it.
But if you really want beauty abroad in a clever way you have to check out Beauty-Free!
I just discovered this site today and Imma say it’s brilliant. The site is dedicated to Duty Free beauty discoveries. Seriously, how brills is that?
Every single post is about duty free beauty products you’d find at the airport….I think I’m in love.
Since I happen to love punishing myself with makeup and skincare that proves tricky to locate this is the perfect little website for me.
Visit Beauty-Free at beauty-free.co.uk I think you’ll love it as much as I do!
Now we should probably arrange a road trip around the world to gather up all the fab finds on this site right? Anyone wanna come with?
Korean brand, Tony Moly, has a skincare range that’s taken Korea by storm…what’s so amazing about it?
It contains over 70% Snail Mucus…ya know, that friendly little slimy trail snails leave behind as they slowly crawl away.
Are you ok with skincare that contains snail mucus?
How about over 70% of it?
Princess Carnival is a range of sheet masks from Asian brand IsQueen. The facial sheet mask collection has a cutesy, “My Beauty Diary” feel about them.
These are fairly inexpensive at about $5 for 5 masks each however since we are in the US we do have to worry about paying online retailers far more for them. It would be ever so nice if sheet masks were as easily to come by in our drugstores as they are in Asian ones. Facial Sheet Masks we do have access to such as from brands like Shu Uemura are triple the price in the North American market.
Sula has a new color collection available at Ulta. This is a budget friendly collection of lipsticks, blushes, eyeshadows, and more for $8 each. I recently tried one of the lipglosses and was quite pleased.
Anyone try yet?
Here’s a look at the new Sula Creaseless Cream Eye Shadow.
Breast Cancer Awareness Month is an annual international campaign that takes place every October. This month raises awareness about Breast Cancer and helps educate us about the cause, prevention, treatment, and cure.
Hopefully you’ve taken some time out to donate to your favorite charity! If you haven’t chosen a charity you can always indulge in beauty favorites from various brands which offer proceeds of their sales to various charities.
This year, Sephora has created a range of beauty products which donates some proceeds of the sale of each item to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
