Glowish is a new makeup collection from Huda Beauty that will launch at hudabeauty.com and at sephora.com on June 1st. Glowish will be a two piece makeup collection infused with skincare that promotes a no makeup makeup look. Huda Kattan was inspired to create the line during the pandemic as she, like many of us, was wearing a lot less makeup. The star of the collection is Glowish Multikdew Skin Tint that’s available in 13 shade selections ($37) and a Soft Radiance Bronzing Powder available in five shades ($31). The collection will also include makeup brushes for application.

The products contain 80% natural ingredients and are packaged in postconsumer recycled packaging. They contain ingredients like Damascus rose oil and red bell pepper extract (protects against blue light).

I have very good skin that needs very little coverage so tinted moisturizers are definitely my jam but Huda struggled creating the line stating that she felt the formulas “moved all ove the place” and she was completely sold on creating one but later embraced the no makeup makeup look! She’s quoted as saying, “the purpose behind makeup changed for me,”� Kattan said.

This is the fourth line under the Huda Beauty line and there may be room for more…! Huda was apparently asked by to create a hair care line by Sephora but it’s not something she’ll be doing because she isn’t passionate it enough about it.

You can expect Glowish to arrive June 1st.

Natasha Denona Puff Paint Liquid Serum for Summer 2021 is a new silky liquid blush serum that will be available May 26th in three shade selections. Yeah, I’m sort of old because first ready that as “puffy paint”! Oh my god remember puffy paint? My inner child squealed. I was obsessed with puffy paint as a little kid. My first job was at a fabric and crafting store when I was still a freshman in high school and the sheer array of puffy paints they had available did my head in. As someone who adores makeup I swear puffy paint was one of those gateway drugs into makeup! The many colors and finishes….so sexy! Ha…

Puff Paint Liquid Serum looks a like like the new Selena Gomez’s new Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Liquid Blush!

Shades include:

• Tan- peachy tan
• Darya- pink coral
• Bloom- true cherry

Each one is $22 or you can buy a trio of all the shades at a discount for $56. The promo images give them a nice sheen but I think they probably used a bit of highlighter to get that radiance. The texture is supposed to be creamy with a hydrating feel but not a dewy one. According to marketing it has a “skincare infusion technology which is a skin thirst relief complex, a super active ingredient that brings fast acting and long lasting deep moisture.” I swear these products get too technical sometimes. It’s blush for goodness sake.

None the less these look very pretty.

Monday is here! Are we all groaning? Think about it…if we had Monday off after a long weekend we’d be groaning on Tuesday so, really, just embrace Monday!

I hope you’re having a productive day. Mine is super busy. I’m sorry for the lack of posts but work has been operation chaos lately. There’s a lot going on! But I’m not complaining. There are so many people out of work at the moment that I feel very blessed to be busy and stressed out. It’s a good thing.

Change is brewing for me…I hate change. I really HATE it. But I’m trying hard to be an adult about it this week. After a year and a half at home my boyfriend is finally headed back to Cupertino after Memorial Day. As some of you know he travels back and fourth between NY and CA quite often. I do the same but he does it far more than I do. It’s going to be really, really hard saying goodbye and I know I’m going to be a big baby and sob, slobber, and snot all over him at the airport but I wanna try really hard to be strong about it. He’s been my safety net, my protector, the person who’s belt I grab and who’s back I stand behind when I’m feeling scared…. This pandemic has taken away the confident and strength I’ve always had as a woman and has made me a complete whiny little kid. I’m slowly starting to get back to feeling comfortable being around people again which makes me optimistic about handling life again on my own! And of course, texting and facetiming him ever five minutes when something goes wrong….like that time I found Peppermint Joe Joe’s in the pantry and wasn’t sure if I should eat them or not so I had to interrupt his work day, text my best friend, and Facetime my sister asking if they were safe to eat! Who knows if expired Joe Joe’s could kill you?!?!?!?!? I didn’t get COVID but an expired Joe Joe would do me in because I HAVE THAT KIND OF BAD LUCK!

Makeup makes an appearance in today’s love letter…..! I’m having a love sesh with Urban Decay Naked Wild West Eyeshadow Palette lately….! Hmmm how unexpected! I thought I was going to hate it but I’m digging all these dark, sultry browns paired up with pops of teal and blue. I’ve been using this thing on the daily for the past several weeks and the more I use it the more I fall under its spell!

Standoff needs to be a single. I don’t care how you do it Urban Decay but I need this as a single. It’s a great color wash and it accents my highbrow perfectly!

The E.L.F. Jelly Pop Collection has returned and with it the E.L.F. Jelly Pop Primer! Don’t get me wrong I really enjoy E.L.F. Mint Melt Cooling Face Primer but I’m pretty hyped the Jelly Pop one is back! Actually the really good news is the Jelly Pop Collection is back! Not entirely back as some items haven’t returned like the Jelly Pop Blush but there are some old favorites that are back as well as some newer items all of which are available now at ulta.com!

If you’re a fond fan of the stickiness and grip of J. One Jelly Pack I’d say you really need to snatch up the Jelly Pop Primer!
