About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. These all look so interesting, but to be in the Halloween spirit I would definitely choose the pumpkin. 🙂

I love Ghost times ten. This is the first time I’ve tried it, and I’m wringing my hands over whether to spend my money stocking up on it while it’s here, or spend it trying gels I haven’t tried yet, or haven’t yet been released. A year is a long time to be stuck with one scent, but when that scent is lily … Ah! See? I just don’t know.

chelsea me too me too 😀 If you get two it’ll last you until next year if you have a ton of shower gels hanging out 😀 sadly lush doesn’t really introduce a ton of shower gels anyway 🙁 Truly a fav of mine too don’t feel bad 🙂

Hi Muse! This is a bit OT but still Lush-related. I’ve mentioned this before but now I am a TRUE Lush convert. I recently hauled a bar of Coalface, the Tea Tree Toner, and the Vanishing Cream moisturizer. I have VERY oily and acne-prone skin even though I’m in my early 30s…and after using the Lush products for just a few days, I’ve already seen a difference. My skin is very soft and most importantly, NOT OILY. I’m a bit broken out on my chin, although that could be yucky stuff that Coalface is bringing to the surface, right? I know you had said at one point to give Lush a little while to start working properly. Anyways…I know you love Lush so i just wanted to let you know that I’ve truly joined the ranks! I think I might throw a bit of Dark Angels in the mix, too.

Bonnie I love OT 😀 and I’m always OT anyway so please by all means be as OT as you like. Fantastic hauling. I love Coalface, Tea Tree, and Vanishing Cream for Summer! Have you tried Dark Angels? It’s a softer version of CoalFace 😀 Ummmm well it could be coalface or it could be the skincare regime. Some people have experienced break outs from the skincare. If it doesn’t go away try not using the products a few day to see if it clears up 😀

ha I was reading this and typing the reply as a I read and here you are mentioning Dark Angels 😀 It’s fab…although some folk with larger pores didn’t like it but I don’t have larger pores so it’s golden 🙂

oh…boo (hehee) i really wanted the pumpkin soap this year too and I missed it!! Does it really smell just like spice curls?
and I just ordered a GHOST shower gel in my recent UK haul and cannot wait to get it in the mail!!!! Many rave about it, so i;m excited to try it…not sure if i am a floral person, but i’ll give it a go. does it have sweet scent too?
i also just ordered Dark Angels…hope i like it. i like the idea of the colaface bar, but i don;t think it is right for my skin, so DA it is! oh lush…how i love thee!
