Revlon Custom Eyes Mascara Review, Photos
More clicking fun with your mascara. Gotta love mascara that pulls out all the bells and whistles eh? I really liked Almay One Coat Dial Up Mascara, did you try it?
Revlon Custom Eyes Mascara is another dial up design that might interest those of us who like gadget-y, gimmick-y mascaras. I’m not only a member of that geek club, I’m the president yo.
Check it!
A mascara that contains an adjustable brush which you can click to create not one but two looks with.
Oh yeah baby, total gimmick here.
This basically has a plastic applicator with longer spike bristles and a top which clicks to the right or to the left. From what I can see, after squinting through several clicks, the bristles appear to move either up or down. The first click to the left promises Length and Drama…oooo! and the second click to the right promises Length and Definition….ahhh!
After experimenting with both clicks….
I can honestly say they both perform in the same exact fashion. I seen absolutely no difference between the two clicks, not even in how much product is saturated on the brush. It appears ALL the same to me.
How’s the mascara perform?
Like rubbish.
You’ll get alot of raves across the beauty blog board I’m sure but personally I highly recommend saving your $7 because I didn’t see dramatic results here and in some cases felt that it created a bit of a clumpy look if I wasn’t careful. Props for a nicely pigmented formula however fatter, longer lashes? Not so much. It didn’t really create any wow aspiring moments for me and just performed in a rather basic mascara fashion by providing ok lenght and a little volume but mostly clump.
- Those who like a good gadget (that’s why I brought it, I can relate).
- Anyone who likes trying out new makeup (again, why I purchased it).
- Anyone looking for longer lashes.
- Anyone seeking more volume.
- Anyone believing they can customize their mascara look (NOT!).
Personally didn’t find anything to rave about here which is the case with most of my drugstore mascara purchases in the US. I definitely feel Revlon Custom Eyes Mascara was an interesting idea……in theory only.
(Apologies above is my before shot but I was a bit tired and labeled incorrectly)
No likey.
Wasted my money here.
Anyone try?
