Sephora Pro Airbrush Concealer Brush #57 Review

Sephora Pro Airbrush Concealer Brush #57 is probably familiar to many of you and if it isn’t, you NEED this brush. Forget reading this, get to Sephora and pick this up immediately.

Those who already own the Sephora Professionnel Platinum Concealer Airbrush #57 I recommended ages ago are very familiar with this brush as it’s pretty much the same exact thing.

I recently indulged even though I already own the Platinum version. I ended up picking up this new one out of curiosity.

Take a look!

You don’t need it if you already own the original. It’s the same brush, same price ($24), and performs the same way the original does. The only thing different here is bristles seem a touch longer but that’s it!

Never used it?

You’re in for a treat.

I’m a finger girl when it comes to concealer however, this brush and E.L.F.’s Studio Concealer Brush are my two HG brushes for applying concealer. These two brushes have changed my mind about concealer brushes and completely changed the way I apply my concealer.

It seriously provides the smoothest finish possible when applying concealer.

Sephora markets the brush as an ideal way to get an airbrushed finish under eyes and on face. Does it work? Hells yes. The round head is easy to swirl in concealer and buff under eyes for a truly flawless, airbrushed appearance. The brush fits nicely along the contour of my eye and allows me to use a lot less concealer as it only takes a touch to buff into place and create a smooth, concealed appearance under eyes. The thing that makes this so brilliant is the fact that it buffs concealer so perfectly into place even the driest eyes with get a smooth, even appearance.

I must add that I love Sephora for including these great plastic brush traps with all their brushes lately. These “holders” or traps keep brushes from getting smashed and keep bristles from splitting. Sephora needs to consider selling these on there own as I’d totally buy them to hold all my brushes.

Overall, the Sephora Pro Airbrush Concealer Brush is an absolutely must have if you don’t already own it.

For those who do you don’t have to buy the new version, it’s very much the same exact brush they originally released.

Own it?

I’d LOVE to hear your success stories.

I know I adore this brush!

So I thought that the BBrown concealer brush was your favorite….am I crazy or did things change? Or both, lol. Anywho, I’ve been known to use toothbrush head covers on my eye brushes, especially ones I don’t use that often, but I agree, if they would make ’em I’d buy them too!

ahhh it is but the end with the buffer/blending brush is my fav NOT the concealer brush ;-D Bobbi has or had a dual sided concealer brush. one end is a concealer brush and the other is a blending brush which you can use to set concealer with powder, this is the end that’s my HG can’t live without. But the concealer brush I’m just meh on! I typically use the ELF studio concealer brush or this ;-D they are both my HG.

Wait, are you allowed to have 2 HGs? JUST KIDDING! As if us beauty junkies could pick just one! Lol.

I LOVE this brush (I got it in the airbrush set) for applying my undereye concealer. Good thing that the new version performs the same or I would have indulged…scratch that, I might indulge anyways : )

EVERYONE is always talking about Sephora’s Airbrush brush so I’ve been meaning to try it, and now they have a great concealer one too?!? I need to catch up on my wish-list purchases…

Like you, I like to use my finger when I put concealer on. But on models I do use a brush. Or even a sponge. You’re making me very curious about this brush though… 🙂

  • Barb

agreed… best brush EVERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!! it buffs and blends the concealer for a beautiful finish… couldn’t do without it! Can you be addicted to a brush? Hi…my name is Barb and I’ve got a problem…. (albeit a good problem)

I own the Platinum version and I love it. My current concealer du jour is the MAC Prolongwear Concealer and this brush (or its previous incarnations) makes applying concealer, esp in my undereye area, a dream. No puling or tugging, just soft, fluffy bristles touching my face – LOVE!

I use a giant sigma f86 for concealer lol a couple swipes or pats and my concealer is blended in flawlessly 😀

  • Jillybean

i bought the original at your recommendation when it first came out – LOVE it. seriously amazing. Most days i apply a first layer of cream concealer with the trusty elf brush, then blend a liquid on top with the airbrush! thanks for another great rec muse! 🙂

fantastic jilly!!!!!!!! I’m so glad you like! do you use the studio concealer brush from elf?! I love that thing!

  • cat

I love my Elf Studio Concealer Brush but if this works even better I might go ahead and splurge. It’s so hard to blend concealer under my eyes sometimes, especially if I’ve forgotten my nighttime eye cream the night before.

I went to buy it today on my lunch break because i HAD to have it. Just gave it a thorough washing, and can’t wait to use it tomorrow morning:)

I wonder how this compares to the Sigmax P80 Brush. It looks very similar. I’m going to have buy it to try it. But if you have it, do you happen to know?
