Mizon Snail Repair Hydro Mist Review
Mizon Snail Repair Hydro Mist joined my empire of facial mists earlier this month because I don’t technically own a snail facial mist and I felt like I needed to mist myself with snail mucus. I mean I’m already applying it via moisturizer and facial masks so why the hell can’t I mist it on my face too right?
Wink!
I know sounds weird but it really isn’t, promise!
Mizon Snail Repair Hydro Mist isn’t really a must have if you have a ton of facial mists already in your arsenal. I rotate facial mists constantly as they are something I use daily. After I step out of the shower and before I do anything with my face I typically mist away! Or when I go to bed at night prior to any skincare or treatments I mist my face as well! I’m always purchasing new ones to try as well. But if you have a ton already no need to rush to get this as I didn’t think there was anything super special about it.
Supposedly it contains 99% filtrated snail mucus which I would think would make the mist quite moisturizing. It comes in an aerosol can which means it delivers a very fine mist which I like. I don’t love squirt style facial mists as they tend to really soak your face down! Finer mists allow for a nice hydrating feel without over doing it plus you can use them to set your makeup as well and give a dewy finish to skin after makeup application without ruining your entire look. It contains absolutely no alcohol and treats wrinkles as well as improves elasticity. Personally I don’t buy into the anti-aging benefits but who knows? It does have a faint fresh scent that’s very pleasant and shouldn’t upset sensitive users overly much.
I like it well enough because as I said I can use it to prep with prior to skincare or I can use it to set my makeup. It delivers a nice fine mist that leaves my skin supple and soft. I don’t feel like it’s extra hydrating which is where some of disappointment stems from. I expected something intensely hydrating due to the snail content it supposedly contains.
In the end Mizon Snail Repair Hydro Mist is a very nice facial mist but nothing incredibly eventful that I’m screaming at people to rush out and buy. If you need a facial mist this is a nice one however, if it is moisture you seek you might be disappointed with the results this provides.
Tried it?
