Tarte BB Tinted Treatment Primer

It’s today! Tarte’s Beauty Without Boundaries set is available on QVC.com and with the set you get Tarte BB Tinted Treatment Primer in your choice of five shades.

I have swatches available of four of the five shades of Tarte BB Tinted Treatment Primer which hopefully make your life a little easier when deciding on your shade today.

Tarte’s Beauty Without Boundaries set will be offered today only at a special price of $59.96 (the price goes up to $73 after midnight) and includes eight Tarte products. The set is available as a one time purchase or you can snag it on auto delivery which means you’ll get a new seasonal set which includes eyeshadow palettes, you can see those sets by upcoming clicking here.

With the set Tarte includes Tarte BB Tinted Treatment Primer in your choice of shades. This is a primer slash tinted moisturizer style product that preps skin, evens out skin tone, and protects with an SPF 30.

The shades available to choose from are:

  • Fair
  • Light
  • Medium
  • Tan
  • Deep

Tarte has created a swatch video which you can see below.

My swatches below are done heavily and I sheered them out a little so you can see the texture and get a handle on the shades as well.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Did you try these yet Muse? I finally threw mine away this weekend. I wanted this so bad when it first came out. A tinted BB primer? Hell, yes! But sadly, no work for me. Like you, I have dry skin and this stuff was torture. It just dragged across my skin and collected in my pores like crazy. I tried everything, even another primer underneath it. Which kind of defeats the purpose, huh? I couldn’t get it to work no matter what. So those with dry skin, use caution. I suggest trying a sample of this before springing for the full size.

Sorry to hear it Deb 🙁 I did try and review the product twice (once recently with the beauty without boundaries set)! Oh well onto the next great beauty find for you ;-D

Thank you for the swatches Muse! I thought I was going crazy for a while there. I had seen these in Sephora before, and normally I’m a “tan” in everything, but the “Tan” in this was more like a “Dark”. But then I kept seeing the models on QVC using the “tan” version and they were my skintone or lighter so I was completely confused. I still decided to order the medium since I doubted that they had changed the color range from what I had seen in Sephora and now seeing these swatches I’m glad that I did. That “Tan” is WAY too dark for me.

my pleasure maria! You can always return if it doesn’t work but the product is sheerer so I bet it’ll be fine. Keep me updated and let me know if it works for you!

The Fair looks like it would be suitable for Casper, and the Light is too dark. I usually use Light in the regular Tarte foundation but this looks way too peachy for me. I’m glad that I decided to pass on this kit. I really just wanted the lippie anyway.
