Too Faced Chocolate Bar Eye Palette

A review and swatches of the brand new Too Faced The Chocolate Bar Eye Palette ($49) is on the way but I know you’re just as greedy and impatient as I am.

So here’s a LITTLE sneak peek of this yummy palette!

So this is what delicious looks like (but don’t taste it, I don’t think these shadows are edible)! The Too Faced Chocolate Bar Eye Palette hits the beauty airwaves shortly (it’s already popping up on just not yet for sale and includes sixteen drool worthy eyeshadows inspired by chocolate (and yes, they even SMELL like chocolate, damn, these are the days I wish we had scratch and sniff monitors).

The shadows are infused with real cocoa powder and comes in both matte and shimmer finishes. The two master shades used for highlighting and blend are White Chocolate and Champagne Truffle. These weight in at 0.10 oz each with the other 14 shads are 0.03 oz in size.

The palette comes in a box that looks like a foil wrapped bar of chocolate and the actual palette once removed from the box looks like a chocolate bar. It’s a metal palette with a magnetic closure and a full size mirror and how to get the look, step by step instructions.

This tempting chocolate bar shaped palette contains 16 shades of Too Faced Eyeshadow scented like real chocolate in matte and shimmer finishes. It’s an assortment of beautiful neutral, nude natural shades inspired by girl’s best friend, chocolate! The shadows are actually infused with real cocoa powder and they have a subtle scent of chocolate when you open the beautiful metal case that houses them. Any candy lover will think this is darling!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Ohh what a tease you are Muse! I cannot wait for the swatches. Do you already have the new blushes too?

  • BethL

How fragranced is the palette? It is gorgeous but I am not sure about the scent?! Sounds a little odd!

  • Barb

mmmm they’re singing my song… “mocha chocolata ya ya”! and the scent must be similar to the bronzers! yummy!! I’m in! hells ya!!

  • Karen

Ugh! I want it so bad! Two things that I love in one, perfect! Might even skip the Naked 3 (since I have the first two) and go for this. Definitely on my wish list. Quick question, how many matte shades are in this palette?

  • bethany

UGH this may rival naked 3 for me. I was going to buy that first, but this one… I’m such a sucker for cute packaging and this is so unique… not to mention I’m a chocolate fiend.

  • Nesita

Not only is the packaging appealing but the shadows look so pretty and wearable! *grabby hands*

  • Kaitlyn

I really like that they made the highlight shades larger. I wish they could have done the same with a nice blending color, but since they included several that could be used for that purpose, I will forgive them. 😉

      • Leigh

Thank you Jennifer for asking and thanks Muse-Chan for answering. I like this palette but I am low on finances right now and no way can I afford it. So YAY!!! I’ll be able to buy when I get money! 🙂

  • Lacy

Whoa! Didn’t know this was on the radar either, oh Muse how i love you! …my wallet on the other hand… well that’s another story! LOL Looking forward to your review and swatches!!!

  • Cindy Ramirez

Oh this looks lovely, can’t wait to see swatches! This is totes up my alley 😀

  • Paris B

For some insane reason, I am drawn to this palette! I hope we get it here some time in the next century or something LOL

  • Ashley

This chocolate lovin’, brown eyed girls’ dream come true! Naked 3 who? Reminds me of the Etude House Sweet Recipe Chocolate Eyes palette, but more “tastefully” done of course!

  • zFashionizta

Uh, uh, uh (sticking my hands out like a child), MINE!
Loooooooks yummmy♡I need this one, looks better than any other naked or Brown palettes that I have seen and tested.

  • zFashionizta

Thanks for the 411, I have not seen this on anyone else’s blog, so thanks for the heads up!
Now I will wait to purchase the other pallets and buy this one first.

I’m feeling a little antsy, do you know when can we get our hands on this fab-u-lous palette?

  • Cindy

Muse, how does this compare to the Pretty Rebel palette? I’m trying to decide between the two.

  • zFashionizta

I think it goes on sale on Thursday, December 12th; Friday the 13th, if they want to keep torturing me.

  • zFashionizta

I was correct it went online Thursday, and yeah I placed my order Friday at 2:30ishAM after I read on the this site that it had been released.
