It Cosmetics Eye Lift In a Tube Review & Swatches

It Cosmetics Eye Lift In a Tube1

It Cosmetics Eye Lift In a Tube combines Bye Bye Under Eye Concealer and Hello Light Liquid Brightener into one nifty dual sided package to conceal and brighten up eyes easily.

As obsessed as I am with It Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Concealer I thought it was rather novel to get it in a new packaging as this has a sponge applicator for application versus the tube which I apply using a concealer brush.

Take a look!

It Cosmetics Eye Lift In a Tube

It Cosmetics Eye Lift In a Tube is not yet available for retail on its own as it’ll be available in the It Cosmetics New Year Your Most Beautiful You Collection which is a QVC Today’s Special Value in December for $59. The set includes Eye Lift in a Tube as well as four other full size It Cosmetics products.

Eye Lift in a Tube is one of the more interesting products I took note of in this collection because I’m a self proclaimed concealer junkie.

The Bye Bye Concealer isn’t reformulated and it’s the same formulation as the original being a thick, creamy, emollient texture with a highly concentrated formula that’s super pigmented. If this can’t conceal your problems nothing can! Dark circles, redness, acne, you name it and this stuff can pretty much cover it plus the formula is long lasting on my drier eyes without creasing or fading away. It’s been my HG (holy grail) concealer since the first day I tried it and most days if my eyes are looking awesome in my photos it’s because I’m wearing this! Hello Light Brightener and Bye Bye Concealer

Now I thought the idea of having this in a tube with an applicator would be novel but I actually prefer using it in the tube. Applying it with the sponge means I dot it on and I don’t have a lot of ways to thin it out as it is quite thick. In the tube I typically on the front of my hand, swipe a brush back and fourth in it, and apply it under my eyes. That swiping motion thins it out and makes it easy to apply and blend out. The sponge applicator is challenging to use as you have no option to easily thin it out unless you dot it on your arm. I thought I’d like this style packaging but I do prefer the original tube.

Now the fun thing about this product is the fact it also comes with a Hello Light Brightener. This is a cream highlighter of sorts that kinda reminds me of the Coastal Scents Bright Eyed Eye Brightener I recently reviewed. This is a cooler shade of very light creamy peach with pink undertones. You can use this anywhere you want to contour and highlight. Down the side of your nose, cheek bones, brow bone, etc…I personally like concealer with the Bye Bye Concealer and applying this on my upper cheek bones to contour. It brightens up my ENTIRE face when I use it like this and completely brightens up my look. If you have full on dark circles you can even apply some on top of your concealer to diffuse their appearance and brighten up the area completely. This is fabulous stuff to say the least.

Overall, I love Bye Bye Concealer but I prefer the tube packaging however, Eye Lift in a Tube is a great pick just for the Hello Light Brightener as combined together this is a powerhouse couple that will brighten, lift, and ease dark circles and tired eyes quickly and easily!

I ordered this kit already. I think I’m going to prefer this version of the concealer as the other was just too thick for me. I hope you review the new primer too.

Do you know if this will eventually be for sale on its own if we miss out on the set? Hoping to get the set, but gotta be prepared to hunt it down if I miss out lol

i’d like to say yes kristina as it is an excellent product so I do believe at some point It will release it all by itself 🙂

Sounds fab! I loved the concealer but the light was just a bit too light, making my very dark circles look gray, and I was afraid the medium would be too dark. I’m very fair. Can you tell me what shades of foundation you wear? If the medium works for you, maybe I should try it. Thanks!

You’re making me pull out my old tube again to try and make this shiz work! Everyone loves this concealer but me. Why oh why muse! I have oily skin so I don’t know if that’s goofing it up. I’m determined to give this another go. I’ve been using tarte Maracuja Creaseless concealer for over two years and I used to love it. It’s not working quite as well for me lately. I’m getting old, maybe my skin is just changing. Le sigh. On the never ending hunt for a great concealer. Ah the old days of my youth when one measly swipe of Cover Girl in a tube would do the trick.

I got this already and like it much better then the tube. For me I put one dot of the concealer and the brighter together under my eyes and it works great! It thins out the concealer a tad and makes it easier to work with :). I love your blog!
