Roc Multi-Corrextion 5-in-1 Perfecting BB Cream Review & Swatches

Roc Multi Corrextion Perfecting BB Cream

Roc Multi-Corrextion 5-in-1 Perfecting BB Cream ($24.99) is a new lightweight single shade BB Cream that’s infused with Roc Retinol. It’s formulated to protect skin with an SPF 25 while it fights fine lines and wrinkles while improving dark spots, smoothing, evening, and brightening skin tone.

Let’s take a look!

Roc Multi Corrextion 5 in 1 Perfecting BB Cream

Roc Multi-Corrextion 5-in-1 Perfecting BB Cream isn’t exactly a groundbreaking anti-aging BB Cream after a quick look at the ingredients nor is it your standard full coverage BB Cream.

I think it might be slightly overpriced at around $24.99-$30 as well.

If you can get past the sheerer coverage and the price tag you might like this.

Available in a single shade Roc Multi-Corrextion 5-in-1 Perfecting BB Cream is a self adjusting formula which offers sheer coverage that evens out skin tone, hydrates, and creates a smoother appearance on skin. This is the type of coverage those with already good skin will enjoy because it’s lighter and perfects versus actually concealing or covering your skin. The formula is creamy with a soft, dewy dry down on skin. It wears for a shorter time at around four hours before the even skin tone finish disappears. Apparently it’s supposed to improve the appearance of dark spots while fighting lines and wrinkles. It might improve the appearance of dark spots slightly by brightening the area but likely won’t treat dark spots.

The color adapting technology seems to work fine for me as the color goes down a shade as I apply it. It starts out quite a darker beige but goes a hint lighter beige during application. I like coverage like this in all honesty as it’s sheer, allows my skin to breath, and merely perfects but doesn’t conceal. Honestly, I have good skin so I don’t really need to conceal problems however, I do require something to even out my skin tone and ease dullness. This address both issues fairly ok. The formula also contains an SPF 25.

On the down side I think the price is a bit much for what you are getting. At this price you can afford to indulge in a higher end tinted moisturizer which will likely offer a bit more color coverage, a better formula, and a wider range of shade selections.

Roc Multi-Corrextion 5-in-1 Perfecting BB Cream is one of those products that doesn’t quite translate well. Is it a tinted moisturizer? Is it a BB Cream? Some sort of skincare treatment? Because it really doesn’t do any of these jobs too well….I think the texture is beautiful but in all honesty you can get the same if not better coverage from Ponds Luminous Finish BB Cream at a quarter the price. I think that’s where things went down hill for me as I might be likely to rave this as fairly nice sheer coverage but at near $30 I do wince at recommending it.

Oh well!

If you are curious to try it for yourself it’s available now at Ulta and drugstores.

The packaging reminds me of neutrogena healthy skin tinted moisturizer that also has spf & retinol. I think it’s $12-14 🙂 I really wish labels had to say how much retinol there is though!

    Hi Muse
The packaging of the RoC resembles Neutrogena Healthy Skin Enhancer, which is also a tinted moisturizer with retinol in it. The Neutrogena also has retinol higher on the list of ingredients, which might be better for those looking for retinol as a main skincare staple. It also like less than half the price of this. $30! I rather buy a department store bb cream.

hey Musekin, Sooo disappointing about this Roc BB. I put their treatments on top of my list and woulda thought that of all brands their BB would be great. Thanx for saving me a bundle,
    have a divine day

my pleasure dear! It’s worth a try maybe on sale?! but at this price ouch! have a lovely day!

I wonder the percentage of retinol in this product and how it compares to the percentages of retinol in their other standard skin care products? Price seems high. It would probably cost much more in Australia too, maybe double that, big ouch!

Hi Muse! I’m still on the hunt for a good american BB or CC cream… I’ve considered going back to tinted moisturizers & foundation but SPF is a factor for me! I know you like Lumene but I broke out from it ): What other brands can you recommend? I’m looking for really good coverage (but not cakey) & a dewy glow (but not greasy) as matte finishes tend to show my drier areas. Please get back to me when you can (:

I tried this a few months ago and actually loved it. It really smoothed out my skin tone and imperfections. I have tried to purchase again, but can not find it anywhere. Can anyone tell me where I can purchase?
