New Summer Beauty is popping up everywhere I look and creating unhealthy lemmings for my wallet. I saw the new Tom Ford Summer Lip Color Shimmer ($49) and instantly added it to my cart! Eep! Bad Muse bad! But I couldn’t resist.

Algenist also has a new lightweight SPF 50 I have my eye on and It Cosmetics a new Tightliner.

Here’s a list of new Summer Beauty Wants you’re sure to love!

Philosophy Sunshine Grace Fragrance
(LE) $46
I’m not really a Grace fan but Sunshine Grace mmm I could be tempted. This fresh spin on Grace gets a Summer twist with notes of jasmine, sparkling freesia, honeysuckle, orange blossom, and musk for a lovely, lightweight fresh Summer fragrance!

Tom Ford Summer Lip Color Shimmer
$49
Tom Ford’s Summer 2014 Collection focuses on sun-kissed neutrals and this new Lip Color Sheer brings a delicate golden hue to lips (or shimmering white depending on the shade you choose). It contains a mix of Vitamins C and E plus shea butter so with a delicate shimmer you also get a bit of moisture and hydration. I’m thinking it’ll make a nice overcoat for a red lipstick…!

Algenist Ultra Lightweight UV Defense Fluid SPF 50
$38
Look out Anessa you might be replaced this year with this new fluid SPF 50 from Algenist. This fluid SPF helps to protect and diminish visible signs of premature aging.

It Cosmetics Tightliner 10-In-1 Dual-Ended Brush $24 (at Ulta and Ulta.com)
It’s new all in one dual ended brush helps waterline, tightline, and line eyes in seconds!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Hi Muse!
I have the Algenist sunblock, and I have to say it is pretty wonderful – non-greasy, great for sensitive skin. It’s worth every penny 🙂

I got the new it cosmetics brush when I bought their new Liner Love gel liner on QVC (it came in a set). I don’t know if it was just me or what, but I was kind of disappointed by both the brush and the gel liner. I bought the gel liner in black, and during the TV presentation it looked like a glorious true matte black liner, and when I got it home and swatched it, it was this greyish black and it took me a couple of swipes to even achieve that. I don’t know if i got one that was a lemon, but it was a bummer. Back to the Laura Mercier creme gel liner I go! The brush is also kind of weird – on one hand i liked the tightlining end of it, but the liner end was too thick for my taste. I like a thinner line most days, and the liner end of that brush makes it almost impossible to do that. I’ll probably keep it only because sending it back w/ the shipping costs averages out to be almost half of what i paid for it, but it was definitely surprising since i’ve loved pretty much everything i’ve bought from it cosmetics.

yay! I really want to try it! Looks like a nice spf! I’ve tried the pencil liners from It and didn’t like them 🙁 so not sure on the pot..but was excited about the liner brush kinda hopeful it’ll be cool! I’m a massive it girl too but sometimes they have a miss here and there 😀 sounds like these were two misses sadly!

I, too, have and love the Algenist SPF. It’s so lightweight and works well on my oily skin in summer.

I’m not a huge fan of Philosophy’s fragrances either but this sounds promising!
