Boscia All-In One B.B. Eye Brightener is a new eye perfect that contains SPF 20 and aids in hydrating, concealing, and brightening the under eye area.
They market it as an anti-aging BB Eye Brightener which helps to prevent dark circles and puffiness on Sephora’s website.
I was curious about it but also wary since I tried Ole Henriksen Perfect Truth CC Eye Creme and was disappointed with the results.
Let’s take a look and see how Boscia All-In One B.B. Eye Brightener performed!
It’s a such a rarity to find eye creams or concealers that contain SPF so that does make Boscia All-In One B.B. Eye Brightener unique.
This comes in a long, slim barrel with an attached pump for application. The pump is a little tricky as you have to press it a few times to get product to flow and when it does release the concealer it ends up spurting it out in a big glob! Just pump it slowly to avoid a mess.
Unfortunately this is available in a single shade but no worries as it is sheerer so it should work across a very wide array of tones. I admit it did disappoint me. It’s considerably better than Ole’s version as it is more pigmented and it did brighten considerably better but lord knows I need A LOT more concealing action than this can provide.
The texture is creamy, moist, and easy to blend. I don’t think it lent any moisture to my drier eyes but it didn’t crease into finer lines nor did it tug during application or give up a generally dry formula vibe. It was pleasant to wear and easy to apply. It offers very basic coverage so a younger eye might enjoy this but those of us with drier, aging eyes or darker circles might feel it doesn’t do much. I applied it on my bare skin and it brightened my eye up rather nicely giving me a rested appearance but again, it did not conceal or diffuse darkness.
Boscia All-In One B.B. Eye Brightener Swatches
I found the best use for it was over concealer which is how I use Coastal Scents Bright Eyed Eye Brightener. Once you apply your concealer you can use a little dab of this over your concealer to produce a brighter appearance.
It’s a little over marketed on Sephora’s site with words like pigmented and correcting abilities thrown around. Unfortunately, Boscia All-In One B.B. Eye Brightener is too sheer to be used as a concealer but if you use it in conjunction with your concealer to brighten up your eye area I think you’ll be happy with the results plus you gain the extra protection of SPF 20.
Just don’t expect it to perform major miracles.
