Hope Girl Lip Balm

I recently got a shade of Hope Girl Tinted Lip Balm in my Memebox My Cute Wishlist 3 Beauty Box and I’m loving it. I actually had never tried Korean brand, Hope Girl, prior to indulging in the Hope Girl Memebox and I’m so glad I’ve discovered it now because I’ve found some great makeup items from the brand!

Let’s take a look at the Hope Girl Tinted Lip Balm!

HopeGirl Tinted Lip Balm

Hope Girl Tinted Lip Balm quite reminds me of my favorite Etude House Lip Perfume but on a smaller scale! It comes housed in a tiny plastic jar featuring print leopard print cap.

It does need to be applied with your fingers so that could be a turn off for many (I can relate) but if you can get past this you’re in for a treat. This is a very emollient hydrating lip balm that has a super soft texture that applies like Vaseline and feels positively lovely on my drier lips. At first I noticed a subtle grapefruit scent but after uses it a few times this seems to have disappeared! I find the color is perfect for me as it adds a nice tint of coral to my lips with a super shiny finish that gives my lips a plush pouty appearance!

Needless to say the formula is a win! Hope Girl Tinted Lip Balm delivers not only moisture but lots of glossiness, a hint of tint, and a comfortable soothing wear to drier lips.

I can’t rave this one enough!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. I’ve seen a lot of complaints about this lip balm from frequent memeboxers, but I agree with you – it’s a pretty nice little product.

It’s got more pigment than most tinted lip balms I have, and mine smells very subtly like the gummy peach candy my husband loves.

really?! I loved it! I got a little grapefruit scent to it but not much 🙂

In Korea, they don’t use their fingers – you purse your lips up like a kiss and then apply directly from the jar! (Of course, technically, mouths are dirtier than fingers, but at least they’re your own germs and not whatever your hands picked up randomly.)

interesting concept but I’m worried about germs/bacteria! I have a small lip brush I’m using 🙂
