Wet n Wild Around the Clock Blush Review & Swatches

Wet n Wild Around the Clock Blush

Wet n Wild Around the Clock Blush are a new Spring 2015 range of blushes that launched with the Wet n Wild Fergie Centerstage Collection in three shades. I’m a lover of Wet n Wild Coloricon Blusher so I was quite happy they released these new blushes!

These popped at Walgreens for $4.99 each and there is a $1 off instant coupon that’s attached to the display which makes them a very sweet $3.99 each. Dontcha love a cheap thrill?

Take a look!

Wet n Wild Around the Clock Blush come housed in an oval compact that’s the same as the one from most of the items in the Wet n Wild Fergie Centerstage Collection such as the Photo Op Eyeshadow Quads and Fergie Take On The Day Mattifying Powder. I can’t say I really love the packaging but it is what it is for budget makeup.

On the upside, these are fabulous! The formula is excellent for the price and I would pick them up, packaging aside, if you’re a fond fan of the Coloricon Blushes as these are just as good. AS you can see the shades are quite reminiscent of NARS Blushes! The shade Brush with Danger reminds me of NARS Gaiety or Desire where as Brush with Brilliance is very NARS Orgasm-like.

Wet n Wild Around the Clock Brush (Brush with Brilliance)

The blushes range in finish from shimmery to matte which of course, translates to the textures of each as well. Brush with Brilliance and Brush with Destiny are the two shimmery shades both of which have a soft, easy to blend formula. I find Brush with Brilliance has more of a refine shimmery finish with more pigmentation that Brush with Destiny which has a good deal of shimmer that tends to accentuate drier areas and pores and has a sheer color pay off. Although Brush with Destiny is a little finicky it’s still a very pretty, sheer lighter golden coral. I find the shimmer is more refined in Brush with Brilliance and doesn’t cling as badly to drier areas as Destiny does. It’s also considerably more pigmented and quite a gorgeous pinky golden coral. Both have a strong wear of eight hours without fading.

Brush with Danger is the only matte from the trio of shades released. It’s a very powerful color with quite a good deal of pigment so a little goes a long way. It does apply patchy at times so you want to prep well if you have drier skin to avoid this. The color wears for a very strong 14 hour period without fading. The consistency of the blush is dense but color gets easily picked up my brush during application and blends out well so long as a prep well!

The Wet n Wild Around the Clock Blush are a delightful and pleasant surprise. They don’t cost a lot and wear well with excellent pigmentation. If you liked the Coloricon range of blushes I’m pretty sure that the Around the Clock Blush formula will be just as well received and liked!

Wet n Wild Around the Clock Blush are avaialabe now at Walgreens.
