Gorgeous Peony and Fresh Fig are two new Jordana Twist & Shine Moisturizing Balm Stain gets Spring 2015 shades that will be launching shortly at drugstores (and are already available online for sale). With marsala being the Pantone Color of the Year you’ll definitely want to get your hands on Fresh Fig (it kinda reminds me of a cheaper version of Sephora’s Pure Marsala Matte Lip Creme Lipstick!
Take a look!
Jordana Twist & Shine Moisturizing Balm Stain ($2.99) are a great alternative to more expensive chubby lip pencils as these are a mre three bucks each!
This are formulated liked Revlon’s Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain and Hard Candy All Glossed Up Hydrating Lipstain as they act as not only a lip balm pencil but also promise to act as a stain after the initial fade away.
These have a twist up design so no need to sharpen them! They weight in at 0.095 oz so almost the size of Clinique’s Chubby Lip Balm Pencil. Originally they came in eight shades but are now available in ten with the addition of the two newest, permanent Spring 2015 shades. They have a subtle fruity, gum flavor and scent that’s pleasant but not overwhelming.

Jordana Twist Shine Moisturizing Balm Stain New Shades Swatches (Fresh Fig and Gorgeous Peony)

Jordana Twist Shine Moisturizing Balm Stain (Fresh Fig)

Jordana Twist Shine Moisturizing Balm Stain (Gorgeous Peony)
The formula is thin yet lightly moisturizing and fairly pigmented on the first pass. They wear comfortably lightweight on my drier lips for around three to four hours. They aren’t glossy or shiny but have a light sheen finish. Out of these two shades, Fresh Fig leaves a slight staining effect after it wears down but I didn’t notice the same for the lighter, nude shade entitled Gorgeous Peony.
Fresh Fig is a delightful rich berry! It kinda reminds of Sephora’s recently released lipstick in Marsala Matte. Gorgeous Peony is a light mauve-y nude pink which is very wearable (it surprised me, I expected zombie lips).
If you already like and use Jordana Twist & Shine Moisturizing Balm Stain I’m sure you’re going to adore this two new shades. And if you haven’t tried them? Now is a nice time to grab them up! Plus hey, the three price tag makes for a great cheap thrill pick up!
These are available now at Walgreens or online at www.jordanacosmetics.com.
