Revlon Sandstorm Super Lustrous Lipgloss Review & Swatches
Revlon Sandstorm Super Lustrous Lipgloss is a new shade that recently launched with the Revlon the Sahara Escape Spring 2015 Collection. If the name sounds familiar that’s probably because Sandstorm Super Lustrous Lipstick is one of the five shades that launched with the Revlon The Legacy Super Lustrous Lipstick Collection last year.
For me the two shades are dramatically different so I’m curious why they did a gloss of the same name if it wasn’t quite matching with the original lipstick shade that is smoldering bronze-y color. I think perhaps they thought this might look good on time of the darker shade of the lipstick color perhaps?
Let’s take a look and see what the scoop is!
Revlon Sandstorm Super Lustrous Lipgloss is a sparkling light peachy beige with fine silver sparkle. I like the shade a lot because it’ll work well on a nude lip look. I’m of the mentality when I’m wearing a nude lip that it is essential I apply a hint of shimmery gloss on top so I don’t have a bad case of zombie lips as nudes can prove hard to pull off. I look best in nude lip colors when I apply gloss on top so Sandstorm fits right in to wear a top of my favorite shades of nude lipsticks to add a touch of sparkle and shine. The color itself is very sheer applied on its own. It has a shiny finish with a subtle sparkle on my bare lips.
The formula has an easy glide on lips which isn’t sticky, heavy, or tacky. The gloss texture is lightweight and has a moist feel with a nice hint of shine which I wish was a little more glossy and shiny. They have a little subtle vanilla flavor but I don’t detect a fragrance!

I’m wearing Revlon Sandstorm Super Lustrous Lipgloss below atop Revlon Sandstorm Super Lustrous Lipstick and it does add a hint of sparkle and shine which is nice.
This is a ok shade but I don’t know if you have to run out and grab it up unless you can get it on sale for some killer deal. The color is just sheer shimmery shine and not much else in my opinion and it’s something that’s easy enough to dupe with any number of glosses you likely already own!
