sephora brightening finishing powders

Sephora Bright Set Loose Finishing Powder ($16) and Sephora Bright Set Pressed Finishing Powder ($16) are two brand new finishing powders that have launched for the Fall 2015 season! These brightening powders come in either a pressed or loose formula and promises to set your makeup and brighten up your complexion!

Take a look!

Sephora Bright Set Pressed Finishing Powder $16
This shine reducing powder sets makeup and brightens up your entire face with a semi-matte finish.

Sephora Bright Set Loose Finishing Powder $16
Brighten up and set your concealer with this loose shine reducing powder that’s a universal shade of bright yellow to help diffuse the look of dark circles and dullness!

I’d say the pressed powder is looking like the recently released NYX HD Finishing Powder and the loose formula kinda like Ben Nye Banana Powder or the new NYX Color Correcting Powders. Let’s hope the pressed version turns out better than NYX’s formula because that was a dud for me!

You can get both now at Sephora.com.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. If you’re that person feel free to reach out and leave a comment.

Interesting! I hope Sephora France gets these soon too!

Ooh, these look interesting! I’ve never used a yellow brightening powder and it’s been on my “to try” list! I hope the Sephora close to me gets them in stock so I can swatch it first.

Lol @ the “Set it and forget it”. I now have an inexplicable urge to cook something on my ronco showtime rotisserie! Ugh, I am old.
