As you probably guessed the It’s Skin Detail Black Head Clean Brush is a brush created exclusively for use on blackheads. Now sometimes you might need a little help with those blackheads on your nose or perhaps you chin and maybe your favorite nose strips just aren’t doing the job! And maybe a facial extraction just isn’t in your grasp so I’d say a small little budget friendly blackhead brush like the It’s Skin Detail Black Head Clean Brush can help a little bit.

Or a lot.

I have two or three very bad, no good, troublesome, stubborn blackheads on my nose that just will NOT GO AWAY! These need to be extracted during a facial but most times they end up coming back anyway. Grrr!

I don’t think they are too visible unless you’re getting up close and personal with me but I see them and they bother me in a major way. I’ve tried using my Clarisonic on them, I’ve also tried my little washcloth trick, and of course, I’ve tried exfoliating them away but they just don’t want to move from the cozy residence they’ve taken up on my nose.

I honestly haven’t a clue how to extract such deeply embedded blackheads without doing myself major harm so I rely on little precise brushes like the little It’s Skin Detail Black Head Clean Brush to help a sister out in dislodging these pesky little suckers.

It's Skin Detail Black Head Clean Brush

This is a small brush with short yet soft bristles. To use the brush simply apply your favorite foaming cleanser or exfoliating scrub onto your nose. Now briskly move the brush in circles around your nose for several minutes. Yes, several minutes. This isn’t going to do you any favors if you plan on whisking around your nose once. You really need to put some elbow grease into the situation to get results. Think of all the hard work Holika Holika Soda Pore Cleansing BB Deep Cleansing Oil puts us through! I typically have to take a little break in between my scrubbing as this feels like a work out at times. I set my iPhone for about three minutes, take a sec to breath, and keep briskly moving the brush around my nose, concentrating on the area with the blackheads, for another minute after the alarm goes off.

Now, the blackheads won’t be magically gone after you put in all that hard work nor will they simply rinse away! After you rinse your nose off apply your favorite nose strip (I like and prefer Japanese charcoal pore strips as they seem to have more pull and yank for a deeper clean), leave it on for a few minutes as normal, now rip it off! And presto! You should have a nice clean nose! The brush acts to dislodge blackheads and the strip acts rip them out. I think the brush actually helps my nose strips to work a little better as it dislodged the blackheads for me so the grip of the strip is all I need to grab the blackhead and yank it out of my pore.

It’s Skin Detail Black Head Clean Brush isn’t going to change your life in a single go but it is a handy tool to have around to dislodge deeply embedded blackheads.
