The Lorac Love, Lust, & Lace Alter Ego Lipgloss Collection ($25) is a new, limited edition Lorac Holiday 2015 Gift Set that contains six shades of Lorac Alter Ego Lipgloss in 4 limited edition shades and two best selling shades.

I’ll be the first one to tell you that my favorite lipgloss set for the Holidays and the one I look forward to the most is the Lorac Holiday Lipgloss Sets. They are always such a great bang for your buck, include a variety of generously sized lipglosses, and have a great formula backing them up. This year, Lorac went one step further and switched up their normal gloss formula and replaced it in their Holiday sets with the brand new Lorac Alter Ego Lipgloss that launched with the Lorac Summer 2015 Collection. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with the past lipgloss sets but I couldn’t be happier that they launched the Holiday sets with the new Alter Ego formula as I LOVE this gloss formula!

The Lorac Love, Lust, & Lace Alter Ego Lipgloss Collection is $25 and includes 6 x 0.13 oz shades of Alter Ego Lipgloss. By now you likely did the math so you know what an incredible value the set is as it contains six full size Alter Ego Lipgloss which typically cost $15 each which means this set has $90 worth of lipgloss. SCORE!

Now the set I’m reviewing is an Ulta Exclusive Set that includes four limited edition shades and two shades that are already in the Lorac permanent range. There is also another set with different shades available on Lorac’s website. I don’t know for sure but I imagine they’ll also release different sets at Kohl’s and possible on HSN as they have done year’s past.

Each gloss comes housed in limited edition packaging inspired by Lorac’s Love, Lust, and Lace Holiday theme of solid royal blue with a floral lace overlay. I love their theme this year and wish it extended to the Lorac Mega Pro 2 Palette but that’s only a solid blue in color but doesn’t have the pretty lace overlay!

Alter Ego Lipgloss have vanilla fragrance and flavor and are formulated whit antioxidants such as Acai Berry, Pomegranate, Grape Seed Extract, and Vitamins C and E. Each gloss has a slanted flocked applicator for application.

Honestly, the name might make you think of Lorac Alter Ego Lipstick and you might think these have some sort of matte finish due to the fact that the products share the same name. But no worries, these are highly hydrating glosses and have a completely different formula compared to the lipstick range.

I really love how plush and glossy these make my lips. The gel-like formula feels quite hydrating but never sticky or tacky plus they give my lips a nice pouty look. All the shades in this set are nicely pigmented with sheerer to medium color pay off when built. They wear for around three to four hours without drying out and keeping lips pleasantly moist through the wear.

When I tried them in the Summer I thought they were wonderfully formulated and still feel the same so I’m quite happy that they are now available in such a great value set. There are going to be a lot of Holiday Lipgloss Sets you’ll be shopping as the Holiday season grows nearer but don’t doubt that the Lorac Love, Lust, & Lace Alter Ego Lipgloss Collection is by far one of the best bangs for your buck in terms of quality, value, and variety.
