Pur Minerals Lip Lure15

Dear everyone and anyone, everywhere, that loves makeup, don’t ever say I didn’t tell you that you NEED Pur Minerals Lip Lure Lipstick. If you miss out and you don’t haul at the very least one shade of Pur Minerals Lip Lure, well, don’t hold me responsible for missing one of thee greatest liquid lipsticks on the market at the moment.

That is all.

Now jump ahead for swatches and a raving review.

Pur Minerals Lip Lure17

Velvety, matte liquid lipsticks are a hit for Fall 2015 and a variety of brands are introducing tons of different formulas. Personally my favorite by far is the Pur Minerals Lip Lure one not only because the formula is so incredible but I’m also loving the packaging.

Pur Minerals has come a very long way and has evolved into so much more than the mineral foundation they started out with. There newer products are innovative, fresh, and very fitting for the trends of the season. A lot of that evolution comes out in some of their latest products, products like these Lip Lure Lipsticks.

Available in five shades for a mere $22 each these richly pigmented liquid lip lacquers provide full coverage and a hint of shine with a creamy, comfortable to wear formula. The lipsticks come housed in a silver barrel with a twist up design and a showerhead slanted sponge applicator (they call it a showerhead applicator due to the tiny little holes in the sponge that color is released into). They have soft, creamy, velvety texture with a satiny finish that yes, ironically has a hint of shine. These are a highly saturated lip product with opaque coverage on a single application. The texture is lightly hydrating, never dry, and wears for a full five hours without migrating, flaking, or losing color intensity.

I absolutely love the packaging as well. I find the slanted sponge makes application easy and mess-free plus these are super travel friendly for touch ups. For sensitive users I detected no fragrance or flavor in the formula.

Wow, I’m loving the red and berry, looks like the pigment of a lipstick and shine of a gloss.

I’m going to pick up Belle if my local Ulta still has Pur in stock. I’m thinking they may have gotten rid of it for Lancome and Becca.

You hit it out of the park. I had not tried anything from Pur Minerals and after reading your email today, my car drove straight to Ulta (on it’s own power) and I purchased Fancy. Not my normal color but I am in love. I went to a meeting where I talked and drank water and it really stayed on! It is cushiony on the lips and feels very luxurious. I’m sold and my car will be driving back to Ulta to get more. Very nice packaging too. Thanks for the tip!

yay! so glad to hear it Lisa!!! 😀 My pleasure glad you loved them as much as I did!

Man, I am SO happy to see these. Way back when Hourglass used to make very, very similarly packaged Aura Sheer Lip Stains that were/still are my absolute fave (I have them in all shades). But unfortunately they have been discontinued. The only other brand that I’m aware of that makes this sort of product is Ellis Faas – they make a variety, but I have yet to try them! As I prefer more matte / staining tints, these may be a bit too glossy for my taste, but I wouldn’t give at least one of them a try! That first berry/purple shade you swatched is gorgeous! 🙂

I REMEMBER THOSE! haha 🙂 They were fab 😀 These are a bit different but I totally have one of those Hourglass Auras still haha 🙂 The berry one is lovely Sae!

These are AMAZING! I bought Fiery and immediately after trying it on, I was hooked. I have Fancy and Mystic as well now. Looking at getting the others soon. They are the most comfortable lipstick I’ve ever worn & so moisturizing on my chronically dry lips.
