Lush Fairy Dust Dusting Powder Review
Sometimes you need a little sweet glitter and shimmer in your life and Lush Fairy Dust Dusting Powder delivers it! Lush Fairy Dust Dusting Powder is sadly a limited edition Lush UK Holiday/Christmas 2015 release that gives your skin a sprinkle of sweet shimmery loveliness that smells like everyone’s beloved Snow Fairy.
Take a peek!
Lush Fairy Dust Dusting Powder is sadly available in the UK exclusively! Why we didn’t get it in the US is anyone’s guess!? But if you’re not inclined to order it from the UK (they ship worldwide) you can settle on Lush’s First Snow Dusting Powder instead! It isn’t as sweet sadly but it is a unique effervescent fragrance that has a hint of a pretty sparkle (It smells like Lush Champagne Snow Showers!).
For the Snow Fairy addicts out there though I do urge you to grab several bottles of Lush Fairy Dust Dusting Powder as this smells just like the fruity vanilla gorgeousness that is Snow Fairy!
It feels like Lush has been phasing their dusting powders out a bit and that’s rather sad as I love them. So I’m always happy when they reintroduce them in some form even if it is for a limited edition run. I will say that I both hate and love the bottle packaging. Before Lush used to put their powders in a shake and sprinkle little jar but now they house them in the 3.3 oz Shower Gel Bottle. This is a little messy for application so I tend to dumb the contents into old vintage powder jars I have and I either use a puff to apply them or a larger fluffy brush to dust them all over my body. The nice thing about their dusting powder is they linger and they have a nice subtle yet noticeable throw on skin so you might get asked, “What are you wearing? It smells lovely!”
Fairy Dust is bubblegum pink but applies transparent and gives skin a hint of a silvery lustre. You can shake it on your hair, your body, even on your bed sheets or in your bra drawer. It lovely and has a nice little linger that pairs up wonderfully with Snow Fairy after a shower!
I have to admit to hoarding a few bottles of this one.
