At the moment one of my favorite hauls from the Sephora Holiday Event Sale is most definitely First Aid Beauty Eye Duty Triple Remedy Overnight Balm.

I’ll be the first one to admit that First Aid Beauty has been a little hit or miss for me but they gain my new found respect Eye Duty Triple Remedy Overnight Balm as this is ideal for my drier under eyes.

First Aid Beauty Eye Duty Triple Remedy Overnight Balm

Not everyone is going to love First Aid Beauty Eye Duty Triple Remedy Overnight Balm ($38) that’s for sure but those of us with finer lines and dryness will adore it.

I’ve been using it over a month now and I can easily see myself heading in for a repurchase as this is a great eye cream for nightly use (it’s rich but I use it in the day too sometimes when my eyes need a moisture boost!).

This is thick, very, very thick and rich which is why I don’t think everyone will like it. It has a shea butter base and has the consistency of shea butter as well. Honestly, the texture reminds me of a thick body butter but my eyes love it and soak it up. Although thick it actually absorbs fairly fast for me and provides incredible moisture which in turn makes my finer lines look a whole hell of a lot better. It contains spilanthes acmella flower extract, algae extract, and niacinamide and a host of other ingredients but I’m all about the moisture aspect as that alone is worth its weight in gold in my opinion. I noticed no fragrance in this formula.

I wouldn’t say this is going to cure your fine lines but it is going to make them look a hecka of a lot less bad as it provides plenty of moisture to plump the under eye area up and make those fine lines look minimized and lessened. It also wears very well under concealer but remember a little goes a very, very long way. This isn’t a formula that oily skin users will get on so I’d skip it if your skin or lids tend to be oily as this is a bit too rich for you. However, those of us who have issues with finer lines that look worst when dry or issues with concealers that tend to crease or cake up due to dryness will adore this one. It’s rich, thick, creamy, and an excellent source of moisture. As I said it isn’t going to treat your lines but it’s all about heavy duty moisture and that’s good for me!

First Aid Beauty Eye Duty Triple Remedy Overnight Balm is available at Ulta, Ulta.com, Sephora, and Sephora.com.

I might have to try this! I also have dry eyelids and under eye. I have been using Clinique all about eyes rich and that does help.

It’s been really dry and cold here, so my under eyes are starting to look like the Sahara — a thick balm sounds like the cure, I need to check this out.

Perfect timing! My under eye area has been so dry lately and I’m just about to finish my jar of eye cream. The only thing I can use is Clinique All About Eyes. I bought (on someone else’s recommendation) an Estée Lauder EC and it leaves me with an uncomfortable tingle almos- burning feeling. I think I’ll pick up this and the Clinique AAE Rich.

BTW. How was your Christmas?! Ours was quiet — stayed in and watched movies. I didn’t bake any cookies! I cut my thumb while putting up the lights outside and it’s just now healing. I’m gonna bake some winter themed cookies instead.

hmmm really? All About Eyes never caused burning for me thankfully but it also never worked for me either 🙁 everyone says it is super moisturizing but totally doesn’t do a darn thing for me 🙁 sadness! It was lovely thank you for asking! Quiet sounds amazing 🙂 I like those holidays best sometimes. Awwww! I sure wish I lived closer, I really need to try your cookies hehe!

Thank you for posting about this one Muse.
My concealer has been cracking so much lately. The dry cold weather is not helping either. So this is coming out at a time when I am in desperate need for a solution.
I’m going to get a sample of this one from Sephora.

    thanks again!
