Neutrogena Spring 2016 Moisture Smooth Color Stick

The Neutrogena Spring 2016 Moisture Smooth Color Stick Collection recently launched at Ulta.com in 8 brand new shades for the Spring season!

Neutrogena Moisture Smooth Color Sticks aren’t a new product as they launched in 2013 however, it has been a little bit since new colors have been available so for Spring 2016 there are eight fabulous shades to choose from. Why fabulous? Because half are gorgeous, wearable nudes that I happen to be obsessed with at the moment.

Take a look!

Neutrogena Spring 2016 Moisture Smooth Color Sticks

Sadly, I can’t confirm if the Neutrogena Spring 2016 Moisture Smooth Color Stick Collection is limited edition or permanent. I have hopes it is a permanent line of color as some of these shades are keepers. If they aren’t permanent I have a lot of stocking up to do!

I picked these shades up on Ulta’s website recently as I didn’t see them in stores plus they were Buy 1, Get 1 50% off so if anything at all I’d suggest grabbing them online plus Ulta a free shipping deal with a minimum purchase and a $3.50 off coupon using promo code 303577.

These new Neutrogena Moisture Smooth Color Sticks have a nice soft glide on lips with a very creamy texture and finish. I think they are a little different compared the past shades. Like for example the shades Classic Nude, Pink Nude, and Berry Brown have a softer cream finish where as shade 130 is a lot like what I’ve seen from these in the past which is a soft, hydrating, light formula with a hint of a pretty shine. They do have a peachy mango kinda flavor or fragrance going on so just a heads up for sensitive users.

I think Neutrogena’s formula always stood out from other chubby pencils because it doesn’t have the balminess most of them have. The have more of a light glossy feel which I find wears well on my drier lips. I can get a good wear from the shades at around four hours.

As I mentioned above the reason I liked these so much is the pretty new shades! More than half these shades are nude and I’m in heaven because they are wearable nudes not zombie nude lip shades! But don’t worry, if nudes aren’t your thing, there new pinks, berries, and red shades!

All in all the Neutrogena Spring 2016 Moisture Smooth Color Stick Collection is a gorgeous new shade selection with plenty of options for both nude and non-nude lovers!

Love these!

Do check ’em out at Ulta.com.

I’ve been anxiously waiting for your review. I think I will just cave and buy all of these, but I am trying to wait for a 40% off sale. I loved the originals but never found a color that worked well for me.

Kim, I REALLY LIKE the nude ones. They are very worth picking up! I missed out on one that I plan to order right now actually. It was out of stock first time I ordered. But the three nudes I did get, I LOVED so yes, get them hehe 🙂 The bogo offer is kinda nice. 40% would be nicer though 🙂

LOL at “zombie nude lip shades”! I know exactly what you mean. Most nude lip shades make me look like The Walking Dead so when I find a good one I’m all over it.

How do these compare IYO to Revlon and Nyx chubby lip crayons? Thanks.

It kind of seems like wine berry and berry brown are mixed up for some reason!
Anyway, can’t wait for these in stores!

I just saw some of the original Neutrogena color sticks on clearance (50% 0ff) at Target. I am assuming that means they are discontinuing some colors (peach, papaya, watermelon were the colors I saw on sale), and these will be taking their place.

I saw these at Walgreens yesterday and NEED every single one in my life. I just need to wait for a sale but it’s goig to kill me! I have every single shade of the original colors. They’re just so ama zoning, the right a,punt of color yet moisturizing and last a decent amount of time. Hope these are the same!

I bought all of these the other day , don’t judge me lol! I loved the formula in the old ones but hated the shimmer and sparkle most of the shades had. But I had a coupon at my store and points to use so I snagged all 8 shades for less than 30$! Love them!

haha no judgement at all 🙂 I’m glad you got them as I think they are very pretty!

  • Paula

Haha, I’m late to this party! Is Wine Berry or Berry Brown more red? I love the reds. Thanks! I love following your reviews!
