Becca Blacklight Targeted Colour Corrector

I wasn’t really a big fan of Becca Undereye Brightening Corrector and Ultimate Coverage Concealing Creme last year so I have my reservations about the new Becca Blacklight Targeted Colour Corrector for Spring 2016.

But if you were successful with the corrector and concealer formula you might just love the new corrector shades launching this Spring!

Becca Blacklight Targeted Colour Corrector is a selection of color correctors that promise an extremely pigmented formula that’s infused with light-reflecting pearls to add luminosity which blurs the appearance of imperfections!

Shades:

  • Pistachio: Neutralizes redness to even skintone.
  • Violet: Neutralizes dullness to brighten skintone.
  • Papaya: Neutralizes deep blues and greens to even skintone.
  • Peach: Neutralizes dark spots and hyperpigmentation to even skintone.

The concept sounds interesting but I really didn’t like the heavy emoillent texture of the concealer creme nor did I like the strobing, spotlight finish of the corrector shade I purchased last year so not sure these new correctors will make their way into my stash.

How about you?

Becca Blacklight Targeted Colour Correctors are available now at Sephora.com.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I have never tried a colour correcting concealer but I love the Becca products so I might just have to give this a try! I’ll probably go for the pistachio since I have problems with redness.

I am not a fan of these kinds of products either. Even though I have uneven skin tones and redness on my cheeks, I find a good primer and foundation does the trick. I have used these kinds of products in the past with no discernible difference.
