Japonesque Blending Trio

Most people try to use products like the Maybelline Dream Blender or Elizabeth Arden Makeup Blender Brush and hate them. Personally, I love ’em. So I was every so delighted over this new Japonesque Blending Trio for Spring 2016!

This Blending Trio ($19) contains not one, not two, but three different soft blending sponges attached to a handle to apply foundations, creams, and powders with.

  • Rounded Blending Sponge

Perfect for use around the jawline and across the forehead to provide an airbrushed finish.

  • Angled Blending Sponge

Perfect for use around the contours of the face to give makeup a soft, airbrushed finish.

  • Pointed Blending Sponge

Ideal for makeup application in and around harder to reach areas.

The Japonesque Blending Trio is available now at Ulta and Ulta.com.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I like the idea of a sponge with a handle. I use one of those egg shaped sponges without a handle and it does mean you get make up on your hands and prob isn’t therefore terribly hygienic.

Although am currently testing the Doll 10 Blend Smart rotating brush so the sponge may get binned!!

Laura Geller has a double ended spongy brush that came with her French vanilla highlighter that I love, so I may check these out.
