Kiko Mirage Lip Stylo Lipstick

The new, limited edition Kiko Mirage Lip Stylo launched in eight gorgeous shades with the Kiko x Lovegrove Summer 2016 Collection recently and of course, I had to snatch up a few shades to call my own.

Kiko Mirage Lip Stylo

I’ve noticed more often times than not, it proves very difficult to say no to a Kiko Lipstick. I’m not really a lipstick kind of girl either! I typically like lipglosses but Kiko Lipsticks are simply too divine and cheap to pass up.

Let’s take a look!

Kiko Mirage Lip Stylo5

The new Kiko Mirage Lip Stylo ($15) come housed in a gorgeous rose gold hourglass shaped barrel that was designed by Ross Lovegrove. The packaging is lightweight but still very, very elegant. Each lipstick is 0.10 oz in size.

I’ve tried quite a few Kiko lipsticks lately and all have excellent formulas but the Mirage Lip Stylo is one of my favorites for sure. These are a bold, shiny lipstick that combine three different products into one formula. You get the rich color of a lipstick here, the shine of a gloss, and the comfort of a hydrating balm in this formula. These remind me a little bit of Sephora’s new Rouge Balm!

I think it can be difficult to strike the perfect balance in a lightweight lipstick that has a shiny finish as in most cases this means they apply sheerer. Not the case with this formula. They have a bold, colorful pay off on a single swipe and still have a great shine finish and a lightly moisturizing formula that feels amazing and wears comfortably on lips.

I find the texture has a slick, easy glide on lips without tugging. Color lays smooth and even on my lips without sinking into my natural lip lines nor feathering or migrating. I get about five hours of wear from each shade I purchased and through the wear color remains nicely hydrating, never dry and the shine has a good lasting effect at around three hours. For sensitive users, I noticed no flavor or fragrance.

As always, Kiko’s lipstick formula does not disappoint. Kiko Mirage Lip Stylo brings beautiful color, shine, and hydration to lips and packs it all in gorgeous packaging with a very friendly price tag.

Do love!

If you haven’t indulged in Kiko’s lipsticks now would be a very good time to do so!

I need to try these. I’ve been wanting to go to the Kiko store but haven’t made it over there lately so I think I’ll just buy online.

These look nice! Have you tried the Velvet lipsticks, I think they were probably initially in the Rebel Romantic line, I have 3 of them from the original line, just love them.

    • Isabella Muse

Not the velvet mattes no! I missed those! I seem to have a knack for getting in on all the LE lipsticks and proceeding to want to stock pile them because they are LE.

  • Andi

Oh no – I’ve been trying to avoid these, but they are so pretty. I told myself I couldn’t buy any because I picked up some Tarte rainforest lipsticks, but I’ve been so disappointed becasue they are so soft. I’ve broken two of them by just trying to apply them.

You look great in the elderberry shade.

    • Isabella Muse

they are very very soft I agree thankfully none broke on me yet but I fear carrying them when the weather gets warmer! Aw thanks Andi!

  • Rocio Ocares

Owww I loved every single shade! They looked so good on you! It’s such a pity that in Chile we can not find any Kiko product :c
