New Revlon Colorstay Long Wear Liquid Eyeliners for Summer 2016

Revlon Colorstay Ball Point Liquid Eye Pen

Revlon has a round of new Colorstay Liquid Eye Pens launching for Summer 2016. They are repromoting their classic Colorstay Liquid Eyeliner in this collection along with two new version one of which has a triple edge point for more dramatic looks and the other is a ball point which has a tiny ball point to dot and fill for easy lining.

I think the Revlon Colorstay Ball Point Liquid Eye Pen is probably the most interesting liner in this collection. It kind of reminds me the Too Faced 3 Way Lash Lining Tool and Clarins 3-Dot Liner which launched back in 2012. These made using liquid liner very easy for those of us that a bit klutzy with liquid eyeliners or for beginners.

After all these years, I still haven’t masted liquid eyeliner! I’m good with gel but notice I never wear it anywhere but on my waterline in my of my photos because I always feel too made up if I use eyeshadow and eyeliner. It’s like drag queen mode activated when I try. Typically, if I’m going to use black gel eyeliner on my upper lash line I avoid using eyeshadow and go pretty bare on my lid.

I imagine there’s some madness to my methods.

By the way, I’ll leave this right here to keep your Monday upbeat!

I am the same way! If I use black eyeliner, I don’t use eyeshadow. Typically I’ll do that with mascara and a pop of bright lipstick. I get that same feeling about being overly made up. I probably won’t try any of these liners and don’t really get the idea of the “point” liner.

Likewise. I do a bare, naked eye! I feel really super made up with both! I also feel a bit clown-y if I’m honest lol! 😀 Basically, you use the little point to dot the liner in the middle of your lash line, at the outer eye, and inner eye and you “connect” the dots to create the look. It’s kinda friendly guide to eyelining 😀 Clarins and Too Faced had something similar a few years ago!

I mostly only wear black liquid liner, no eyeshadow. Shadow tends to make me itch, PLUS I like to wear loud lips often, so I feel like I should keep it tame on the eyes or I feel like The Painted Lady. I’m pretty okay with liquid liner but it has to be felt tip. This looks really cool, I may need to give it a try.

Likewise, not always but when I do typically I feel most comfortable with a naked lid or I feel like I’m WAY too made up 😀
