Maybelline Summer 2016 Arrives at Drugstore
Maybelline Summer 2016 is arriving at drugstores and it is soooo late! Maybelline Summer 2015 arrives in stores May 5th last year but this year it was a little slow coming around but now that it is finally here I’m a happy camper as there are some fantastic makeup to look forward to from this launch all of which will be available permanently.
The most exciting piece of this collection are the new Maybelline Color Tattoo Eye Chrome Eyeshadows as well as the new Maybelline Color Jolt Intense Lip Paint which appear to be a dupe of OCC Lip Tars. There seem to be a lot of duping of Lip Tars lately right? If you haven’t already check out my E.L.F. Lip Lacquers review as those are kind a cheap, no frills OCC RTW Lip Tar. But I digress, this is about Maybelline newness!
So, let’s take a look at Maybelline Summer 2016.
Maybelline Color Tattoo Eye Chrome Eyeshadow (Walmart.com for $7.49)
It all begin with Maybelline Color Tattoo Eyeshadow and soon after we got Maybelline Color Tattoo Pure Pigments. And more recently, the Maybelline Color Tattoo Concentrated Crayons! Now we have another fine addition to the Color Tattoo family in the form of cream chrome eyeshadows. These are available in ten gorgeous shimmering, metallic shades and apparently have a creamy fluid formula. I’m quite excited to try them out!

Maybelline Lip Color Palette ($11.99)
Maybelline originally introduced the their Lip Gloss Palette in October 2015. At the time I thought it was permanent but turned out it was limited edition. They have a display with the same palette from what I can see (it looks like mine) that calls it a “New” palette. I’m not sure if they will be adding this to their permanent collection now. It includes eight shades of lip color. Interestingly enough I was thinking perhaps this isn’t a gloss formula but maybe a lipstick one and that might be where “new” comes into play. Whatever the case may be I know one thing, this palette is hells more cheaper than the new L’Oreal La Palette Lip!
Maybelline Master Precise Curvy Liquid Liner
This new liquid liner isn’t technically new as it did get an earlier launch in the UK so, you might have run across it already! It’s a liquid liner with a unique paddle applicator that apparently makes for easy “flicking”. It’s available in a single black shade.
Maybelline Master Contour V-Shape Duo Stick $7.94
Maybelline’s new contouring stick contains not one but two shades. This stick is split into two creamy shades one of which is a highlighter and the other a contour shade. The precise point V shape makes for easy application on the contours of your face. It’s available in three shade selections for light, medium, and dark skin tones.
Maybelline Superstay Better Skin Skin Transforming Powder $8.99
This new powder contains salicylic acid and provides smooth, even, mattifying coverage.
Maybelline Color Jot Intense Lip Paint $7.99
A new pigmented liquid lip color available in eight shades as well as two transforming shades which provide a glossy finish or a pearl one!
Maybelline Master Strobing Stick Illuminating Highlighter $8.99
Available in two shades this new highlighter stick that highlights and provides a touch of radiance to your complexion!
Maybelline The Loaded Bolds Color Sensational Lipstick $7.49
Maybelline goes BOLD with their newest, most pigmented Color Sensational Lipstick Collection. These creamy lipsticks have hyped up pigmentation and come in alternative shades like white, black, and even blue!
