Soap & Glory at Walgreens Stores

There’s been some concern about brands like Soap & Glory due to the fact that both drugstore.com and beauty.com are closing. As you already know Walgreens has made the decision to close the doors on both of these online stores. So, as of September 30th you’ll no longer be able to shop either location. I’ve expressed in my prior post that beauty.com isn’t a great loss for me as I didn’t shop there often but I will feel the loss of drugstore.com which I shopped at quite often. I really enjoyed drugstore.com because it was a place I could purchase some very unique beauty, skincare, and makeup items such as Thayers, Soap & Glory, etc…

Today I headed over to Walgreens during my lunch our to pick up some pens and I came across a Soap & Glory display right in the middle of the beauty aisle. Mind you, it was kind of stripped down BUT I was surprised and delighted to see it none the less. I already noticed that many items and brands are being migrated over to walgreens.com. But I don’t really shop Walgreen’s website very much. I’m actually hope the introduction of Soap & Glory in store also means we’ll be seeing other brands that were once available on both drugstore.com and beauty.com appear in stores.

I’m happy to see Soap & Glory at Walgreens as it makes it considerably easier to purchase versus heading to Ulta!

So, next time you’re at Walgreens check to see if Soap & Glory is making an appearance on their shelves.

I know I’m happy about this development if not still a little sad about the demise of drugstore.com.

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. Up in Canada we get to buy S&G at a chain called “Shoppers Drug Mart”. They usually keep them well stocked, but sometimes the products are a bit different (formula) or we outright don’t get some of the ones that come out south of the border. Last time I was in the states, I went to Ulta to pick up a body butter scent that I haven’t seen at our stores yet, “Smoothie Star” – smells like almond and vanilla mmmmm! 😀

Soap & Glory has been bounced around more than any other brand I can recall and I have no idea why. I really hope this works out for them!

I heard rumors that they are also at Target but I have yet to see them at any of my locations.

Yeah they are sold at quit a few places online and in stores at Ulta and also at Ulta.com but it is nice to see them at Walgreens, no wait for shipping and you can just head to store to pick up what you want 😀

The Time Square Walgreens I visited last week had a nice display for this line, it had a larger selection then my nearest Ulta. I have wanted to try their products so I picked up a small tester size of The Righteous Butter, I am loving the scent of this product.

I’m glad Walgreens is going to have Soap and Glory but I feel like there is a better selection at Target and Ulta has some cosmetics items too.
