Lancome Sonia Rykiel

Parisian Fresh Spirit Maxi Palette and Rive Gauche Maxi Palette are two new, limited edition Lancome Sonia Rykiel Collection Eyeshadow Palettes that have popped up for Fall 2016 at Ulta.com. Plus the rest of the Sonia Rykiel x Lancome Makeup Collection is available now at neimanmarcus.com.

This is where we all stop in our tracks, run around in circles, and squeal in pure joy. If you’re a fan of Japanese makeup you realize that Sonia Rykiel already had stunning line of cosmetics exclusively available in Japan. Sadly, that line has never made its way to the US.

Much to my delight Lancome collaborated with Sonia Rykiel on an entire makeup range for the Fall 2016 season. Sonia is French but her makeup line has always had a Japanese influence and considering Lancome has been very inspired by Korea lately one wonders if Japan is the next big beauty trend to hit the US. I expected nothing but magic from Sonia’s Lancome Collection and that is indeed what we get. This sweet little makeup has packaging that was created by a famed Paris based graffiti artist and captures the spirit of the Parisian woman.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. If you’re that person feel free to reach out and leave a comment.

I caved and ordered both palettes from Lancome. Le sigh. I’m normally not a fan of Lancome, but these are beautiful. I hope they don’t disappoint since that blew my entire beauty budget for the month of August — and it’s only the 4th!

They look amazing! Let me know what you think? I might need them if you love!

Those palettes and blush are gorgeous! !! Christmas wishlist for me.

I have a soft spot for Lancôme. It was my mom’s preferred brand growing up and she’d always give me her GWPs and that was the only makeup I had as a teen in the 90s, except for the occasional WnW black eyeliner and nude lipstick and other random cheapies I could afford on my allowance. Would be curious to see reviews on the palettes.

I bought the RIVE GAUCHE eyeshadow from Macy’s because they had a gift with purchase. Did you notice more fallout than usual from these eyeshadows? It’s one of the reasons I prefer cream shadow but I fell for this compact. Do you ever use ever shadow in a kit like this?

I don’t have it yet, my order hasn’t arrived so can’t say! Sorry!
