I’m not sure what I’m more excited about, the Bobbi Brown Bobbi To Glow Shimmer Brick Palette or the Bobbi Brown City Collection.

My dilemma is the fact that I have many of these Shimmer Brick shades already. I ran into this issue with Bobbi’s Nude Library Palette as well. Loved the packaging, have most of the shades!

The good news?

I don’t need it but anyone who hasn’t tried Bobbi’s Shimmer Bricks might just be compelled to purchase this lovely little palette.

This contains Gold, Wild Rose (my favorite shade), and Bronze Shimmer Brick shades! The shades work together or indivdually to add a gorgeous glow and a hint of color to cheeks and face.

I think it’s rather handy to have all three in one compact! It also saves a heck of a lot of space. These aren’t full size but they do hold a generous total amount of 0.34 oz where as a single shade is typically 0.14 oz.

If you don’t have these shades, I’d say the palette is well worth indulging in.

Bobbi Brown Bobbi To Glow Shimmer Brick Palette is available now at Sephora.com for $69.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I need this palette. I already have the wild rose brick, two in fact, but this would be great for travel. Luckily. I don’t have the other two colors. Thanks Muse.

What brush(es) do you use to apply your shimmer bricks, Muse and others? I have only one brick, in Nectar, and it’s so pretty in its compact but I don’t feel like I’m getting much benefit from it on my face. I think it may be my application technique; I want it to show up, but I don’t want to look so super glittery, so maybe I’ve been going too light. Or maybe it’s just the shade I have, maybe these would work better.

This is going to sound goofy but I use a mini kabuki to buff it. You really need to be careful though because a little goes a long way when you’re using a kabuki for application. 😀 But it works a treat to get a nice luminosity when buffed in well!
