Coastal Scents Channels Too Faced and Tarte at a Cheaper Price

Coastal Scents Blush and Bronzer Palette 1

Get ready for the new Coastal Scents Blush and Bronzer Palette ($19.95) that channels Too Faced Big Book of Bronzers and Tarte’s Big Blush Book!

The new $19.95 Coastal Scents Blush and Bronzer pays home to 10 shades of blush and bronze. Wear the shades alone or mix and match them to create a variety of looks. As you can see the design of the palette resembles the larger palettes that Too Faced and Tarte has introduced. Some of the shades also resemble Too Faced Pink Leopard Blushing Bronzer, Snow Bunny Luminous Bronzer, and Beach Bunny Bronzer.

Coastal Scents Blush and Bronzer Palette 2

Of course, Coastal Scents Palette is considerably cheaper at $20 plus the fact they often have sales which means you’ll likely pay even less than that for this one. I’ve tried a few single blush shades from the brand and liked the formula so, I’m curious if the palette will prove just as good. It’s a bit bulky, so traveling with it is out of the question, but I love variety so, I’m not so sure I mind the size that much.

There’s quite a wide range of shades represented here that are both bolder as well as subtle. Some will even act as a highlighting or even contouring shades so, the palette will double up to add warmth and color to cheeks as well as define and contour your face.

I haven’t tried it yet but will be testing it out shortly.

What do you think of this one?

Worth a pick up?

I’ve heard of them from Birchbox but never tried, their stuff looks interesting. Maybe I’m being picky but their name really bugs me, it makes me think of them as a home fragrance company and not makeup.

I use Coastal Scents eye shadows and love them. They are one of the few who have a Neutral matt palette that no one else can beat. I love it so much, I bought it for all my friends for Christmas last year. Maybe I will have a Christmas gift for them this year??

I LOVE Coastal Scents eyeshadow and their brushes. I will never buy eyeshadow from anywhere else. I have accumulated a large palette of shadows, all hand picked by me. I have never run into an eyeshadow by CS that wasn’t 100% perfect.
