Here’s a look!

Whoa! This is a surprise right? Tarte Tarteist Pro Amazonian Clay Palette is likely an early Spring 2017 launch but Tarte gifts us with it today. It’s an interesting palette with a range of richer mattes that you don’t commonly see since most brands tend to stick to neutrals when comes to mattes. Not the case here as you are getting neutrals for sure but also richer cranberries and purples too. The addition of the metal shades seems a little odd but should play off the mattes nicely. Although some might feel the purples and neutrals are the standard Tarte offering and would prefer more brighter eyeshadow picks. I don’t mind so much because I don’t work well with color mattes. I’m eager to try this one out and see how the formula is as my last venture with the Tarte Styled by Hrush Palette was quite a good experience even if the Holiday Palettes have been a bit of a miss!

Shades include:

  • classic (cream)
  • innocent (soft peach)
  • whimsy (brick)
  • smoked (dark brown)
  • ethereal (bronze)
  • vintage (ivory)
  • fierce (cool plum)
  • no filter (purple mauve)
  • vamp (deep plum)
  • glam (champagne)
  • chic (pale pink)
  • profesh (taupe)
  • mod (deep cherry)
  • drama (maroon)
  • minx (shimmering mauve)
  • indie (greige)
  • bold (light brown)
  • edgy (chocolate)
  • punk (black)
  • trendy (prismatic teal)

The Tarte Tarteist Pro Amazonian Clay Palette is available today at tartecosmetics.com.

I haven’t decided which palettes to purchase. I am not sure if the clay palettes are higher quality or more expensive but I am anxiously awaiting your review to compare this to the Tarteist Paint Palette Collector palette which has 24 shades and I think it was cheaper.

having gotten an email about this this morning, I’ve ordered it already! it might be similar to the UD Naked palette that I love & have, but I don’t care! LOL I just love Tarte eyeshadows and can’t resist a naked palette of mattes!

  • Nikki

I got the email for this this morning and I was so excited because these are some of my favorite eye shadow colors! I really don’t need anymore palettes but if this makes its way to Ulta and I’ve saved up enough points again I may have to get it!

  • Angie

Wow! If the metallic shadows are the same formula as the singles they released recently, then I know I’m going to love this palette (which I just ordered)

  • diane

these colors look beautiful. i’m still enjoying my ulta holiday palette from them. i want this, but i’ll hold off for now and hope it comes in ulta in spring! much rather get ulta points with purchase 😉

    • Lynee

It’s on Ulta.com now and launches in Ulta stores on 11/20! Ulta is the first retailer that will get it so we can count on getting points and soon!

  • Natalie

I got the email this morning and went Googleing for reviews.I went to the Tarte website as well where it says these are “ultra-pigmented”. I would love some pressed shadows with great color payoff. Wonder if these will live up to the “ultra-pigmented” claim.

This looks pretty Muse. I checked website and it does not say if it is made in China or USA. If you ordered this, I am would love your reviews and swatches. Thanks.

  • Kelly

I’m hoping for another surprise from tarte soon, I just randomly decided to check QVC UK and they have a rainforest of the sea TSV that looks amazing! Wish I could order it

This palette looks great! Love the shades and that there a mix of matte and shimmery shades to mix. Looking to revamp my eyeshadow collection.

Do you know if this is going to be a permanent addition to their line? It looks super interesting! I may have to pick this one up!

  • genevieve

This palette looks a lot better that what we have seen from Tarte lately. I just hope it is a good one.

  • Kaitlyn

I didn’t get the Hrush palette, but I’m wondering if they’re close to the In Bloom formula. The ingredients list vanilla extract, and the pans are the same style/shape. I think I may have to give it a go. These colors are my favorites to work with!

  • Natalie

Hi again,Muse. I will probably buy the palette anyway.I am wondering how big this palette is.The website doesn’t give it’s measurements.I wonder if it’still about the same size as the ulta holiday palette.

    • Isabella Muse

Hi Natalie, I know as much as you do sadly. I don’t have the palette yet, just ordered it yesterday, so no idea the size/what the formula is like/etc…but as soon as I get my order I’ll let you know! Sorry about that!

  • Janell

Love the look of this! I was sitting here wondering what to get my sis for Christmas and now I know!

  • Agona

The russet berries and cranberries are so trendy/popular this season but I just can’t pull them off. My SIL, however, wear the warm reddish colors well. I may have to gift this to her!

    • Isabella Muse

Mine was supposed to be here yesterday boooo! Waiting patiently 🙂

  • Michelle Hazard Bridges

Are the colors really pigmented? Can not wait to try. You need to do a review 🙂
